$VLEEY Tuesday with Luminar Day will also be interesting for Valeo shareholders. But Luminar $LAZR will once again only deliver a show without substance. Good marketing but outdated and poor products.

$VLEEY I am very surprised about the users here as well as the short sellers. They all seem to have no idea about the automotive supply industry. Of course, Valeo is the clear market leader in the lidar sector. But that doesn't mean that Valeo will supply 100 percent of all lidar devices. Nor will any other supplier. There is no monopoly for any component. Otherwise there wouldn't be many very large suppliers from Magna to Valeo to Bosch. In the same way, there will be several Lidar suppliers. I'm not sure about Luminar, but Aeva $AEVA, Innoviz $INVZ and Microvision $MVIS will each achieve a market share. That's why I took advantage of the current bargain prices to get in there too. Many people here also make the mistake of betting everything on one company. I expect all three to see rising sales and therefore rising share prices.

$VLEEY No lidar, not safe, no level 3 or higher. Only Mercedes has reached level 3 with Valeo $VLEEY lidar. Tesla will never make it without lidar. 95 percent detection by cameras is simply not enough. Tesla $TSLA admis this with the price reduction. Should give all lidar shares a boost tomorrow. $AEVA $MVIS Tesla $TSLA can add lidar at any time. Mr. Musk often changes his mind spontaneously.

$VLEEY Everything done right with Valeo. Luminar $LAZR is apparently only getting a little smaller with the new model. The shape does not seem to change. https://twitter.com/luminartech/status/1781823181419929803

$INVZ Luminar $LAZR needs new money. Innoviz, however, does not. The capital increase has already taken place, why doesn't he say so? Innoviz had $150 million in cash at the beginning of the year. So he should not lie. Innoviz also expects up to 70 million dollars for development contracts in 2024, so has up to 220 million dollars available this year. That's why I got into Innoviz. If Innoviz does it right, they will close development deals as planned and cover ongoing costs. Innoviz is in a completely different financial league to Luminar, although neither is as solidly financed as Valeo $VLEEY, of course. But Innoviz can rise to 5 dollars at any time. https://stocktwits.com/Dietl/message/570287219

$LAZR So this know-it-all, shareholder of a competitor company, wants to know today what Luminar will be presenting on Tuesday. Interesting. More details please. A photo of the new lidar model, please. I don't think it can be dangerous for Valeo $VLEEY. But positive press reports could follow with a rising share price. However, I'll wait until the date to decide whether to get in. https://stocktwits.com/Dietl/message/570287219

$MVIS It's Valeo $VLEEY. Not Luminar $LAZR. Valeo is Mercedes' exclusive lidar supplier.

$VLEEY The day before yesterday I got into Aeva $AEVA, yesterday into Innoviz $INVZ, and today I'm buying my trading position in Microvision $MVIS shares... I'll wait until midweek for Luminar $LAZR.

$MVIS This may even apply to an entire market segment. Luminar $LAZR has dragged down all lidar manufacturers. The daily losses of the other companies, with the exception of Valeo $VLEEY of course, were similar. I have been watching this for some time to find the ideal entry point for a gamble. I now see a low point from which it should soon start to rise. This can be seen in particular from the fact that share prices are still not low enough for many here and are still expected to go lower after a 95% fall in prices. Although all lidar manufacturers, with the exception of Lumiar, don't even have any debt. I'm getting in. After $AEVA, today at Innoviz $INVZ.

$VLEEY The best lidar share is clearly Valeo. Hardly any risk, good potential. Now that the conference calls will take place in two to four weeks and I expect announcements by then, I plan to build up additional positions in Aeva $AEVA, Innoviz $INVZ and Microvision $MVIS as these now are extremely cheap after the crashes. These can any day double. Even for Luminar if the new model is better than expected, which I do not expect.

@Dietl Before Ouster shareholders attack other companies, they should name the car models that are available with Ouster lidar. For example, Mercedes cars with Valeo $VLEEY lidar or BMW cars with Magna Innoviz $INVZ lidar.

$INVZ What is this blind man actually doing at all lidar companies? He neither knows the market leader Valeo $VLEEY nor is he familiar with lidar models. I see an Innoviz 2 on the roof here. What is supposed to be a scam here other than what he writes? Innoviz has probably used the Chinese lidar below Innoviz 2 as a comparison to show how much better Innoviz is. Clever.

$VLEEY Congratulations to Innoviz $INVZ. Not all cars can have Valeo Scala 3. The new BMW X3 (prototype) has Innoviz lidar. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/bmw-x3-prototype-drive

If things continue like this, all American lidar manufacturers could eventually disappear, leaving only European Valeo $vleey. Short sellers are consistently trying to destroy American companies like Luminar $lazr.

Very irritating that the shares of all lidar companies are falling daily. For years. Except those of Valeo $VLEEY, of course. There must be manipulation here. Because nothing fundamental is changing. It is clear that several manufacturers will do good business, as no single manufacturer will be able to satisfy the demand for lidar devices. Valeo and Innoviz $INVZ should become the main suppliers due to their years of head start. Luminar $LAZR could serve niches such as Volvo if Luminar does not disappear from the market as expected. Aeva $AEVA undoubtedly has a top customer in Daimler. Microvision $MVIS could serve the mass market with its low-cost devices. All are heavily undervalued.

@ThatNewGuy @Patriots1 @Sauron_Trades Innoviz $INVZ has successfully passed all financial audits at BMW and VW. Valeo $VLEEY has been a partner to all car manufacturers for decades. Luminar $LAZR does not meet any of Mercedes' financial criteria and should already or soon be on the red list of suppliers that cannot be purchased from.

$VLEEY Valeo and Magna/Innoviz $INVZ are in most tenders in the automotive industry. You won't find Luminar $LAZR there. I clearly see Valeo and Innoviz as the winners. They are the only companies whose lidar devices are already installed in cars available today, such as those from Mercedes and BMW.

$LAZR Why is this user bothering us with meaningless posts on Luminar? Why doesn't he show a video with a Luminar Iris in a car behind a windshield when he asks others to? $VLEEY Valeo should be launching a Scala version for under the car roof soon. Luminar will never catch up with this years long lead. The user surely knows that Iris is not suitable for mounting behind the windshield. $MVIS

If you really want to invest in Lidar, buy Valeo. Market leader today, market leader forever. https://www.valeo.com/en/catalogue/cda/long-range-lidar-sensors-scala-gen-3/

$VLEEY It should only be a matter of time before Valeo sues Luminar $LAZR. The internal architecture of the lidar module and the format of the Iris housing are strikingly similar to those of Scala. A different laser wavelength is not enough to differentiate a development.
