@Inveztmtl the buy out typically won’t pay off the debt. They will roll it. Shareholders will get their due. I’d estimate 1-2$ per share from my past experience with spac buy out .. $TLMD got bought out at 3$ per share..

@risk_vs_reward yes that’s the thing. It would seem so. What’s odd here is that no large player is reading this and taking a position. But the exact same thing happened to $TLMD there was one billionaire heavily invested.. price was demolished.. I’m sure he was buying it all up in the end. Then - sold. X 10 money. And it was no where near as beat down as this and its revenue was much lower. It seems completely irrational for this to be trading here.

$DCFCQ this is being driven down for a sale. I saw this same thing with $TLMD .. the price didn’t make sense with the sales. Woke up one morning and the shares were up 10x after a buy out. And it was a ex spac and didn’t get hit as hard as this. Nor did it have the growth potential. The market cap is so fn low. The only reason this hasn’t moved is that it’s just got no following. This could go up 10-50x times if Liteon buys it. I mean even if they pay 250mil.. which is ridiculously low… that is 40x the value of the float.

@Rocky_Prieto They are both in Telehealth already. The same as Wallmart, where they work together with Doctor on Demand using an on a la carte payment model. They did a small acquisition too, MeMD some years ago, offering subscription based care. The B2C is very crowded, the more you advertise the more revenue you get however the lock in effects are not that strong and on the end of the day you have nothing left on your bottom line. Teladoc on the other side, is deeply rooted inside the largest insurance companies across the globe. These relationships offer their moat and if the thesis play out, will make S&M costs go down on the long run but also cross sell through their different branches. We expect to see leverage going forward. Most of their competitors are going bankrupt btw. Check Babylon Health, Cerebral, Sharecare $SHCR , $tlmd (Soc telemed). Bankruptcies, layoffs , negative free cash flows are the theme of the last couple of years. Few will survive, Teladoc is def one of these
