$SABR any news?

User Image paladinbst Posted - 5 days ago

$SABR I closed and will look for another entry. Looks so weak today.

User Image paladinbst Posted - 5 days ago

$SABR Tempted to sell to close and buy back lower. I did ok since I was short covered calls and made money on them but it is acting very weak and I doubt that is the bottom after that whoosh today.

User Image Lay1a Posted - 5 days ago

$SABR Every time I come look at this piece of shit company it is struggling on every gain. $5 billion in debt, flat forecast for full year 2024, haven't made a net profit since 2020. All ingredients for it to drop towards or under $2.

User Image paladinbst Posted - 5 days ago

$SABR Covered calls worked well. STO for .40 and BTC for .15. I almost set GTC at .10 but I would need overshoot for .10. Confident .15 would hit, no babysitting the trade.

$SABR typical

User Image paladinbst Posted - 6 days ago

$SABR Easily gave up the 50 day MA so I expect a move to lower ATR 2.0 and possibly some overshoot. That is where I will BTC covered calls. About time SABR has a decent retrace to digest that move. Could be the dreaded h pattern which points to short-term weakness but it needs more churn to work off the overbought condition. Why I am short covered calls.

$SABR In a BB KELT volatility squeeze so a move is coming.

$SABR Chamath! Where r you man? Give us a shout out here!

$SABR When comparing 1Y SPX and 6M SPX performance vs Sabre it becomes even more evident how illogical things are. Dare I say a gme is required that would expose the shorts, here ?

User Image Goldenleaf Posted - 1 week ago

$SABR let’s see how this reacts to the forecast that SOFR decreases now that the chances of rate cuts in September have now jumped to 70% on recent CPI numbers. The debt directly tied to this interest rate. Most likely will take a long time but we’ll see if these successful shorts cover

User Image paladinbst Posted - 1 week ago

$SABR Struggling at the 4 day EMA but 50 day MA is just below so see if that acts as support. Might need to BTC covered calls depending on price action. Finally trying to work off overbought condition. Still needs more churn to do it. Not sure if we will get another leg down based on where the 50 day is now.

$SABR management has destroyed this balance sheet

User Image Goldenleaf Posted - 1 week ago

$SABR just checking in on our lil POS…rates higher for longer no good for variable rate debt

User Image paladinbst Posted - 1 week ago

$SABR Testing 50 day MA now. If it loses that it could test lower ATR 2.0 which should finally work off overbought condition.

$SABR Smithson continues to hold the company in the near term as one of its smallest positions while the company's recovery continues, as this is when potential equity returns can be very meaningful. This does not necessarily mean it will be a long term holding, as the risk and potential return of the position is continually assessed.

User Image Water03 Posted - 05/28/24

$SABR Thank you for your email. Please see Simon's comments below in relation to the holding of Sabre within Smithson. I understand your concerns regarding Sabre, it has been an unusual holding for us and is the only one we hold in such a unique situation. The company is a high quality provider of software services to the travel industry and operates in a tight oligopoly of just three companies. Unfortunately therefore, it had to take on debt during Covid to survive a period with no travel related revenue. Now that travel revenue is returning, the company is once more generating profits and cash flow. While revenue growth forecasts, linked to a continued travel recovery, are modest over the next 12 months, the growth in profits and cash flow for the company will be substantial due to operating leverage and previous cost cutting. This means that the debt levels of the company will appear more 'normal' in the next 12-24 months.

$SABR a multi bagger in the making.... SabreMosaic is meant to help airlines create, sell, and deliver personalized retail experiences akin to modern online shopping. McKinsey has estimated that this type of next-generation airline retailing could be worth $40 billion by 2030. That would represent up to an additional 4% of current industry revenue, an equivalent of $7 per passenger.

@paladinbst I keep selling CC and CSP since November 2023, and buying $SABR shares with the money coming from selling options. I have lowered my cost over $1 for free. I probably have to roll over last CC I sold over, will see.
