$PEP anyone been buying this dip lately? My opinion is despite what happens with the FDA and trump nominating Kennedy for this food stuff, worst case in that they would just be forced to use real sugar canes and real ingredients. Which would push the prices higher, people who are die hard Pepsi/ soda fans will still buy it. Despite the higher price. It’s like cigarettes 🚬 despite cigarettes costing more and the extra taxes being added on, people are still buying it. I’m loading up, averaging my cost and continuing to build my position in this company. It’s a great long term business with steady dividends and a great moat.

$PEP As consumer staples, food stocks are considered recession resistant. Below piece is edited from a 11/19/24 Insider Monkey 🐒 article about the best food stocks. PEP, is a food & beverage company featuring Lay’s, Doritos, Pepsi-Cola, Mountain Dew, and Quaker. PEP's products dominate the snack market. PEP recently agreed to acquire Siete Foods. Analysts believe this will enhance PEP, adding a Mexican-American brand that expands its range of healthier food options, a strategy that allows PEP to mitigate risks and maintain growth. PEP is also a Dividend King, having consistently paid and raised its dividends for over 50 years. Over the past decade, the company’s dividend has more than doubled, significantly outpacing its peers. PEP pays a quarterly dividend totaling $5.42 annually, yielding about 3%, a commitment to returning value to shareholders that makes it an attractive investment. PEP ranks 6th on Insider Monkey's list of best food stocks according to hedge funds.

$PEP really, never ending tax dollars thru SNAPs and product price increases saved this dinosaur for the short term. If North America is, very basically, one fourth of this company, it's probably the oldest and filthiest. Absentee landlords of 40 year old facilities. They even sell garbage to third world markets as recent news points out.

User Image nio11 Posted - 21 hours ago

$PEP $ko $HSY anyone catch CNBC fast money last night when they talked the threat of changes for cutting certain ingredients and additives in packaged foods? They also mentioned the SNAP program and how they might limit or take out certain food products available to be purchased. I believe the second point is the main reason for the sell-off.

$PEP $RTX LFG, expected this to move higher. Also, your thoughts on MYNZ? Who's behind the 30M share offering deal? 👀 And how could the Thermo Fisher (TMO) partnership ($210B market cap) reflect this stock movement and PR buzz everywhere on socials?

How's your 2024? This also shows the 2023 summary resuts. This again proves why I only buy when H% is low is the correct strategy. Many traders buy the random levels and lose. The result speaks for itself. $V $JPM $BTC.X $KO $PEP

$ZVIA It’s hard to believe that this healthier soda/energy drink company is only at a 142 million dollar market cap. A 10X return from here is only a 1.42 billion dollar market cap. It shouldn’t be hard considering the vast and growing distribution (Sams Club, Walmart, Costco etc…) Plus they are in the recession proof Consumer Staples category. Investors will be hunting for plays like this without huge market caps. $CELH $MNST $KO $PEP
