$NTDOY they have a winning formula with Switch that they are not going to tamper with. They are improving performance to PS5 or better level. They will produce another blockbuster game, like BOTW or TOTK, they will double down on great, beloved IP like Mario movie. They are going to be fine. Devalued currency is temporary as is no new console. Let’s all not be overly reactive - in 1 year we will all be very happy we held on. I went through this exact same thing with them 2015-2018 and made a killing.

$NTDOY This is definitely what is going on imo but probably not a good buy. The Yen is at a 34 year low, that is terrible for Nintendo. I would bet that is why they are staying silent. Two-ish years ago they said they wouldn't raise prices on the switch due to the yen, well it's got much worse since then with the yen falling lower vs the USD. On top of US rate cutes looking less likely this is probably concerning Nintendo. We could end up seeing a switch 2 that cost 500 bucks or nintendo is going to just have to accept lower profits on the console which isn't good either. Terrible timing overall because the switch 2 has to release this year or next.

Got a couple thousand invested, $7 avg, all dividends going to nintendo shares now. Adding $100 of nintendo weekly as well. Medium risk, and decent reward with nintendo. Everything positive for them will rely on their next hardware release in 2025. It succeeds, everything the company is building in the background will too.
It fails, the rest will too. Don't let me down nintendo.

@multiplemultiples Disney took Disney Princess from Hasbro and gave it to mattel (jakk still does some dolls and accessories). I think a renewal of the $ntdoy toy license is worth mega millions to the market cap. Uncertainty is the devil. With SMB 2 on the horizon, we should know soon.
