Most mainstream movies now cost b/n $100M-250M to make The first Top Gun (1986) cost $15M to make vs the 2022 sequel cost $170M Ampere Analysis: Total revs from streaming (incl ad revs from hybrid streaming sub tiers) will overtake revs from pay-TV subs in the US for the first time in 3Q24. Streaming subs overtook pay-TV subs back in 2016 in the US, streaming’s lower ARPU, which currently sits at around 1/10th that of pay-TV, means that rev is only now catching up $DIS $CMCSA

$MAX When insiders have struck a deal with JP Morgan to dump shares at $19.85 per share, there is no reason why retail investors should consider buying above this price. I think the price is being kept artificially above the secondary offering price.

$MAX What's going on with this? Decreasing daily volume, but price keeps going up. Many insider shares are being sold to the public via secondary offerings. None of this looks good for regular shareholders.

$MAX Price keeps going up, and volume continues to decrease. Low demand is what I am sensing for these price levels. Not to mention, insiders are unloading shares via JP morgan .. aka secondary offering.

$MAX This stock has no liquidity, hence the reason insiders had to take the secondary offering option to dispose of their shares.

$MAX Look at the pre-market volume along with ask/bid spread. I am sure underwriters (JP Morgan) will want the stock price to be way above $19.85 so they can make money - There will be manipulation in the market by the big boy.

$MAX Although this secondary offering is not dilutive in nature, it is a vehicle for insiders to unload these shares. No wonder stock price has shot up considerably in the past few weeks, without any fundamentals supporting the movement (aka manipulation). Since share prices have gone up approximately 60% in the past 1 month, I wonder how much the underwriters (J.P. Morgan) will be willing to pay, cause they typically target for 6-8% margins on deals like this. My guess is shares will be sold to J.P. Morgan for around $19 (+/-).
