$LX Ex dividend day today. $0,066 cents per ADR. Almost half of what the first dividend was, but the fourth quarter 2023 results were bad so that makes sense.
Really hope to see recovery in Q1 so the dividend can increase again to $0,09 / $0,10.
In the meantime I patiently wait for better times.

$LX Trading well below cash now. While they are paying back the convertible bonds, I guess there is only so much they can do to support the stock. Soon they will be past that, maybe that will help. Just need profits to more or less hold up. A lot of patience has been needed for this one, sigh. But from what I can tell they have been building significant shareholder value.

$LX Jeez, never ending story it is. Testing my patience once again. Would have expected it moved towards the $3 instead of $1. Only benefit of this ridiculously low price is that I can buy more shares for a low price when we receive the cash dividend.

@Shtarship777 I don't think the market cap is really relevant, but you are right, looking at e.g. net margin, $QFIN seems significantly higher ~26% as opposed to ~11% net margin $LX.

$LX investor presentation is updated. These guys are a joke. Spending as much as $QFIN on admin expenses while having 1/10th of market cap. Every single metric is ugly in their report

$LX reported a better quarter than $LU and guess what: LU is up 40% due to a very large special dividend. LX is down 10%.
Long term I believe LX will turn out to be a great investment. Along the way collecting 10% annual dividend rate.

$LX is a buy and hold for dividends. I don't care about price action. If it stays there I'll slowly buy more and hold 10+ years if I have to.

$LX hope we can finish close to green. Think when we got rid of the ER gamblers we will go back up again.

$LX i’m a bit confused with price action. These results weren’t bad, and we basically have no action - i believe that these are exits of people who were counting on spicier reaction. (Imho). Why there are nothing on the call?

$LX all numbers are nice, just in Q4, were investment lost huge - just this investment lost is difference between net income Q3 and Q4. I think this will be not again in Q1/24. Otherwise it is helthy growing company with one of the best P/E - I think best time to buy today with small discount

$LX ok, let's look at the actual results... People here will go all gaga over the headline "net income decreased by 96%" - but if you look more closely these results for Q4 include over RMB1B of "Change in fair value of financial guarantee derivatives and loans at fair value", "Provision for contingent guarantee liabilities" and "Investment loss" - which are not only non-recurring but also are largely fake devised from the market devaluing the same assets held... So overall great report

$LX While Q4 definitely could have been better it’s good to see the full year picture and some other numbers:
“Net income increased by 29.1% from RMB826 million in 2022 to RMB1,066 million in 2023.” And:
“Gross profit increased by 48,7% from RMB3.035 in 2022 to RMB4.513 in 2023.”
Net income Q4 2023 decreased by 96%. Why: “The investment related impairment losses were related to the investment and related prepayment for equity interests of a domestic private bank.”
“Gross profit increased by 20.6% from RMB1,043 million in the fourth quarter of 2022 to RMB1,258 million in the fourth quarter of 2023.”
And: “90 day+ delinquency ratio was 2.90% as of December 31, 2023, as compared with 2.67% as of September 30, 2023.”
I think we will lose some of the gains from the last couple of days, but overall it was a decent year. They gave a careful outlook for the se results as 2023. Also they have a 10% dividend yield, paying $0,182 per ADS for the first full year.
