@fsrsolarorange vw unlikely. They already have a mega strong EV game… It very well could be a company that is already doing business with Magna. Stellantis definitely. And it could be a mildly distressed one like $LCID or $RIVN.
But the fact is.. the ocean is a bit of a wonder. It has great range. It has beautiful styling. It rides smooth and it’s got great performance.
Not only would a company save the R&D costs to design something similar, they get the name, the clientle, the relationships. And I’m sure any deal will involve Fisker staying on for a significant equity stake to help improve and offer new designs. It’s a turn key, beautiful automotive company that could get delivering billions of dollars in sales and it would only cost a few billion to buy and finance.
The actual buy out price should really be closer to 5 or even 10 billion. But my guess is 1-2 billion range. Still could pay 1$+ a share

1. Have to give significant discount to get new buyer 2. For lease cars, Lucid will have to put more residual value guarantee to the banks
