In addition, it offers GridMesh software that allows its hardware devices to securely join the network and communicate with each other; Utility Max (UMAX) and UMAX+ wireless solutions for electric power utilities and telephone carriers to set up a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint Ethernet links; and Grid Intrusion Management systems. Further, the company provides distribution automation solution for two-way communications from distribution devices along the power grid to the back office or substations; managed services and customer support, such as network design, deployment support, and program management; and professional services comprising engineering, construction, and project management services to the smaller utilities. Additionally, it offers asset tracker solution for the inventory management of utility smart electric power grid assets, including meters, collectors, and concentrators, as well as substation and field deployable assets. The company was formerly known as OptiCon Systems, Inc. and changed its name to Infrax Systems, Inc. in January 2010. Infrax Systems, Inc. was founded in 2004 and is based in St. Petersburg, Florida.
