$GSBD One reason, maybe the main reason, this is performing so poorly is most of the selling is by…the fund itself! They are ripping through the $200 million ATM plan they authorized just over a year ago by selling over 7.2 million shares for just over $111 million. They are raping you.

$GSBD made a new 4-year low today. Incredible that Goldman makes no changes to senior leadership after stock falls 39% during only 2.5 years in charge, unless Goldman benefitting by cramming bad deals into this BDC. Are the guys at Ares $ARCC (for example) really far smarter and better risk analysts than Goldman Sachs? I'm highly suspicious of the $GSBD business plan.

$PFLT I moved 10k into BDC a little over a month ago and I'll be getting 250$ in payments just in December and January. Holding $OFS, $PFLT, $TSLX, $TCPC, $GSBD. Shame I don't have liquidity to double down here.

$GSBD another chance to back up the truck

User Image Joserod Posted - 1 month ago

Q32023 vs Q32024: (1) shares outstanding up 6.9% (2) EPS down 32% from $0.47 to $0.32 (3) NAV down 7.3% from $14.61 to $13.54 (was $16 in 2021). $GSBD looks like a good yield until investor realizes that after principal loss, annual yield is not 14% but closer to 7%. There are many higher-yielding investments with less risk than $GSBD. I often wonder whether is $GSBD is just a dumping ground for deals Goldman declined to place in its own private BDC. GLTA

@Jonnybig @cahnman young enough to notice your obsession with $GSBD No love for $PSEC but for Goldman is pathetic

User Image Jonnybig Posted - 1 month ago

$GSBD I repeat, this is the best deal in the BDC sector unless somebody has another idea this is a solid 13%

$GSBD went down to 12.79? Back up the truck

User Image WSB_Autists Posted - 1 month ago

$GSBD ok, you lil cash cow, now you are my second largest BDC after $PFLT . There is one thing only you have to do and we all know what it is - 0.45$ per share, every quarter as you did in the past decade.

$GSBD Good news. .58 got rid of one non acrual by selling out, restructure another and still have one on non acrual. Percent of non acrual could be considered somewhat high but earnings good and spill over income was very high last qtr, around 1.60.

$GSBD this stock is on sale grab it while you can absolutely no chance the dividend will be lowered zero

User Image cahnman Posted - 1 month ago

$GSBD rising interest rates especially on the 10-year are pushing BDC's down. Goldman has been paying the same dividend for 10 years. They have plenty of spill over income. That's extra income to use if they have a false short on their earnings. There's dividend is going nowhere neither up nor down.

Alex Chi and David Miller were appointed Co-CEO and Co-President 4/2022. $GSBD was $20.50. Stock plunged 33% in 8 months to $13.72. Chi and Miller are still Co-CEOs and Presidents today. Goldman Sachs giving us the A team, thanks.
