$IGT It looks like they will issue an equal amount of shares to the holders of $IGT for the lottery business which makes up a good portion of the profit. Does anyone know the range of the price the new shares will be issued at? I know the other portion of the spin off is a merger between the 2 companies with $IGT holder getting slightly over 1/2 the value. I have no idea what the combined new stock would be worth. Hopefully it is no lower than what the current $EVRI is selling for now. FULL DISCLOSURE...LONG $IGT and have been for years and also took a new position in $EVRI and have been adding it to almost daily. Both stocks took a big hit since the announcement of the merger, and my logic tells me it can't be bad for both companies.

$IGT listened once again, 3x now, to the webcast cc. It sounds like we get 2.6bil distribution in cash across shares outstanding? Do I have that right. It is hard to dig out what is coming. Wall Street thinks it sucks. In my quick calculation 2.6bil/200mil shares I get approximately $13/share for our lottery business and 53% of the new combined company which will be worth WHAT? Maybe $21-22/share is what the wizards of Wall Street value the combined value of what 1 share of the current $IGT is worth. I have no idea, I am just guessing. But I keep listening to the cc calls and still I have NO IDEA. It is MURKY at best. If they unlocked the value of $IGT is sure went down the crapper. All I can do now is hold and take a new position in EVRI. I can't wait to see this "real value" unlock. DISCLOSURE...LONG IN $IGT AND I ADDED the last month and took a new position recently in $EVRI since I have no idea what is happening. ALL THE ABOVE IN MY OPINION. DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE.

$IGT Maybe this is a much better deal for $EVRI. What I do not understand is that $IGT management wanted to "UNLOCK" the "INTRINSIC" value in our stock so we are merging with $EVRI and trashing out overall value????? That is what Wall Street thinks we are doing in reflecting our stock price. This isn't very clear and it seems we did not need to go this route, but that is just MY OPINION. One company usually benefits from a merger so I am forced to buy some $EVRI shares now and find something to sell. ALL THE ABOVE IN MY OPINION. DO YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE. FULL DISCLOSURE..........LONG $IGT and added today as well as now LONG $EVRI as I took a new position.

@Sedonian_Sasquatch Yes I agree, and since the combo with $EVRI as I understand will be a taxable event. Just the wording makes me believe you have to show a gain to have a taxable event. Therefore we all make money from this....A Capitol Gain? So what is $IGT worth right now? And to make it more complex, how do we calculate the taxable event when this finally takes place? Will it be the price of the two individual companies on the merger date vs the average cost of the share price of $IGT as you bought it over the years? It could very well be a LOSS!! If it is a taxable event......meaning GAIN...the stock price right now is sure not showing it.

@TheMonk for reference, $LNW sold its lotto business for $6.1 billion in 2020. The new $IGT and $EVRI company is valued at $6.2 billion. IGT’s Lotto business is a money maker. It trades at 5x its 2025 estimated core earnings, compared with its lottery rivals, which trade at 11x. I value the two new companies at around $10-$12 billion combined.
