@ejbuzz $DTC looks crazy cheap on a market cap basis, but less when you factor in the minority interest and debt. Total enterprise is $321M compared to that market cap of just $102M. FCF last year was $62M, but that includes a $28M pickup from carrying lower inventories. Remove that and you have $34M in FCF for a company with an EV of $321M. On the low side, but that's probably appropriate given that revenue is slipping and they have one hit product that doesn't need to be replaced. Good luck. I no longer have a position but am trying to keep people from repeating my past mistakes.

$DTC so Solo Brands is trading at .32 sales and yet they have highly recognizable brands and gross margins in the high 50 %’s / low 60 %’s. They are so poorly managed and unsalvageable that a bad holiday quarter / questionable ad campaign and a management change has made the company worth 75% less than what it appeared to be worth just 3.5 months ago. A valuation that says it’s basically time to close up shop because they have no hope of ever turning a profit, and nobody in their right mind would acquire this business and their $500 million in sales (bc that was an illusion and a Covid induced gift and they’re never going to sniff $500 million again). Am I getting this right? That’s what all those short shares seem to be saying to me…
