$DMTK DermTech to explore strategic alternatives, reduce workforce by 56% DermTech "announced that the special committee of its board of directors engaged TD Cowen to conduct a process exploring strategic alternatives to maximize stockholder value. Potential strategic alternatives that may be explored or evaluated include an acquisition, merger, reverse merger, business combination, sale of assets, licensing or other transaction involving the Company. The Company is also implementing a restructuring plan to significantly reduce expenses associated with its current operations to preserve cash. These restructuring actions will result in a workforce reduction of approximately 100 employees, or approximately 56% of DermTech's workforce. The Company anticipates incurring a one-time restructuring charge of approximately $1.6 million in the second quarter of 2024 in connection with these restructuring actions."

$DMTK I suspect the CEO and board and doing several simultaneous actions: 1. Assessing credit market for a lifeline, 100 million or more. But only if they wholeheartedly believe national coverage is coming soon and they can scale quickly beyond just dermatologists, such as PCPs or direct to consumers…. I don’t think this is their top option because t go is likely needs a few more years before it can fly to the Billion dollar levels… 2. Most Likely they have a broker assessing the market for potential buyers. 3. Board assessing all these options- would have to be soon before delisting notice arrives (which should be this week) I believe they will find a buyer who has cash to build this company and advertise direct to consumers. I fully believe this product has significant potential in the market…. Time and cash on hand is the enemy right now…. But new ownership would have the opportunity for a huge ROI Just my opinion (and hope)….

$DMTK Great product…terrible mgmt! This company had a chance to be a “game changer” in melanoma. The mgmt of DMTK are truly incompetent and should not be in leadership positions. The current CEO has been at the helm for almost a year and the stock has a -83% return. Why hasn’t the board fired him? Well the market will take care of this…DMTK in my opinion won’t last till EOY. I expect future layoffs and downsizing after they are delisted from Russell 2000 and NASDAQ.

$DMTK wow when the stock market is down. This trash moves down. when the stock market is up this trash moves down. I have no hope to get even. I promise I will not add to this anymore. management needs to get productive and help its stockholders. Is there any hope to get to a $ 10 share price?

$DMTK 2-3 years ago I lost a bunch of money on this stock. I should've waited until they have a proven business. The story was great: If a mole looks just a little suspicous, slap a sticker on it, send the sticker to a lab, get super exact results. But after years of effort, hardly any revenue, huge accumulated losses - this company is game over. I sold years ago, but for a big loss. Had I not at least had the mindset, to cut my losses, it would've been much worse. I hope you haven't been holding this from $50, $30 or even $6 all the way down.

$DMTK anyone still own this trash with me. I have 2 questions. 1. any hope stock price gets back to 10 dollars? That does get me even but it would help. If not what is a real stock price? 2. I keep hearing they are going to run out of money, if so realistically when should this happen? Lastly I would hope management and the CEO would have enough common sense to just sell the damn technology so some of us could recoup a little of our money.

$DMTK huge spread.. low volume… low price Sorry I can’t think of another horseman of the stock apocalypse right now there are many options Almost no alternative runway (other products to fall back / other applications for this product) Limited funds (short ass runway) No momentum what so ever Disillusioned investors and absolutely zero love from high money Tutes And more!! P.s I am not even short on this! This is my current DD on this ticker GL all >)
