@SoftwarePhil Not a big fan of Blackrock funds. Lost $5k on $BSTZ in 2022 because I believed too much of the hype and my timing was very bad.

$BSTZ as a side note. BTEK closing next week (same fund in a ETF wrapper without private equity). Last time they did this with the $BIGZ similar ETF ( rip BFTR 🫡 ) I observed it was close to the bottom.

$BSTZ Not lookin' good, Boys. NASDAQ Futes down 700 points tonight. And here I thought the 10-year Treasury dropping below 4% would help tech stocks. I guess since Buffett sold half his Apple stock, tech will be on the ropes for a while. And AI isn't yet producing the vast earnings improvements projected by managements. So, looks like we'll just have to wait it out...

$BSTZ Just received the paperwork for the Tender Offer. BSTZ is offering to repurchase 2.5% of their outstanding shares (76MM) at NAV, as of the day after the offer expires (August 20th). They mention that Saba owns 7.6% of outstanding shares, with a basis probably well below current NAV ($23). Weinstein will probably tender as many shares as he can, since they are in the money. I think I'll hang on to my 10K shares at $25. Hoping to see NAV move higher, as the Fed begins to ease. And, if the full tender offer is executed, that will mean 2.5% fewer outstanding shares.

$BSTZ this fund sucks. Sorry but it does. If technology / secular growth stocks are going to move higher there is MUCH bettter up side capture in $PTF ( it’s not even close)

$BSTZ Received another ballot today, regarding the election of board members, and the Saba proposal. Looks like there weren't enough votes cast last month, so they reset the election deadline to July 15th. C'mon my Bruddahs! Get your votes in NOW! We must defeat Saba and Weinstein, and retain BlackRock (and Tony Kim!) as the investment advisors for BSTZ.

$BSTZ BIG monthly distribution to be paid tomorrow: $0.21125 per share. That's over 1% of current market price. Current annual distribution rate is 12% of trailing NAV. Let's hope it continues. Yes, I know it's all ROC, and probably will remain so for many months. Still, NVDA is the fund's largest holding, and DataBricks and PsiQuantum will have massive IPOs soon. Get in the game, my Bruddahs!

$BSTZ Boaz Weinstein and Saba were REJECTED! So, BSTZ will retain its Board, and management by BlackRock. Now, let's keep that 12% of trailing NAV distribution, and push this CEF over $25!
