$BRY pays $2.5M to investors to end the lawsuit alleging that the $BRY hid financial losses prior to its IPO in 2018. And even if you missed the deadline, you can still file a late claim: https://11thestate.com/cases/berry-ipo-settlement FAQ for the settlement: 1. Do you need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement? - No, if you have purchased during the class period, you are eligible. 2. How much money do I get per share? - The average sum is $0.07 per share, but usually, only 25% of all shareholders claim it, so you can get 4x more than this. 3. Who can claim this settlement? - Anyone who purchased $BRY during the period between July 26, 2018 and November 03, 2020, inclusive. 4. How long does the payout process take? - The entire process usually takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline. But the exact timing depends on the court and settlement administration. 5. Can I claim even if I missed the deadline? - Yes. It is still possible to file a late claim. The court will decide whether to accept late claims or not. $BRY This is pretty volatile for a company that hedges like 2/3rds of it's production. I'm starting a small position after several months of being out.
