$BAND so you're trying to say you don't understand the technology without saying it. If you were running a multisite retail/restaurant, call center, etc., you'd likely find it very relevant.

$BAND $TWLO Wells Fargo upgraded Twilio to Overweight from Equal Weight with a price target of $120, up from $80. The firm views Twilio as a derivative call on artificial intelligence agents, front office, and digital transferring given its positioning as a “pick-and-shovel” in the build cycle. Can anybody think of another company equally or better positioned at a cheaper multiple? $BAND

$BAND I was thinking more about the 4% revenue growth projection by JPM. If you look at cloud comm revenue for this year (excludes messaging surcharges), apply the '24/'23 cloud comm rev(minus political messaging -25M))growth rate to '25 cloud comm rev and then back into '25 total Rev(including surcharges), 4% top line is a possible outcome. They need to aggressively grow cloud comm (zero surcharges) revenue excluding political messaging next year to stay on track for their '23-'26 15-20% CAGR projections

I've hit UPWK, LZ, EXFY all this week. But somehow $BAND is the only one stuck in the mud.

$BAND good to see FIVN, EGHT, RNG and TWLO all reporting above expectations on their ERs. Maybe the tide is finally rising for this group. A few more quarters like this and we'll see multiple expansion.

Epic wins this morning for me with $UPWK and $LZ. Now just waiting on $BAND. It's been quite challenging. Not for the faint of heart. Also, there's a convertible note arbitrage trade going on, a bit of short interest, a battleground stock, and so it makes it especially tough to get a good trend going.

@scheplick I understand the math and your point about the cash is a good one. Keep in mind that they're going to need to pay the rest of the '26 notes down next year and then they'll have about 2 years to decide what to do about '28 debt. This will continue to constrain their cash on hand, unless they refi at higher rates, sell stock or some combo. Most likely they continue to concentrate on improving free cash flow to pay down the debt. However this strategy is not a growth strategy, the best case would be to grow their way out of the convertible debt by getting above the strike price(55?). Growth is how they achieve a competitive multiple, id love to see the industry trend higher than 2.5x EV/R and $BAND to participate

@scheplick agree on election messages, unfortunately it's obvious the market doesn't care about that revenue in relation to BAND. For $BAND to breakout it demands profitable double digit revenue growth now and forecast for the future at or above current rates

$BAND One final thought to consider, how come revenue for the 4th quarter is expected to be sharply higher compared to the 3rd but EBITDA is forecasted to be lower?

$BAND On a related topic, is there profit margin on messaging surcharges ? Or are they passed through to customers at cost?
Also I noticed that the footnote on the investor presentation states that the CAGR numbers exclude surcharges. Also noticed that a significant portion of the company revenue is related to surcharges……
Is there a possibility that surcharges decrease significantly or get phased out starting in 2025? Could that explain the revenue growth being muted with this revenue stream at risk? Just curious 👀 on this one factor that came to mind as we look ahead to 2025 guidance ?

$BAND @DonCorleone77 it's interesting that JMP is only modeling 4% revenue growth for 2025, 2nd to the last paragraph in the one page you posted. Let's say you subtract 5% of this year's final # and end up with 703M for zero political messages, Band will have grown FY24 revenue by 102M. JMP models 4% on 740M, or 29.6M for FY25. That math ain't mathing for me. Why would core non-political Rev drop over 70M as they're adding products and innovating? Plus, they are targeting 15-20% average annual revenue growth 2023-2026 and they usually sandbag

$BAND @scheplick @mykiss Also, attached here is page 1 of a Needham report on BAND today entitled: "Strong 3Q Results and 4Q Guide as Tough Comps Await in '25" Needham has a 'Hold' rating on BAND and no price target. The opening statement is the following: "BAND reported strong 3Q24 results, well above consensus and guided 4Q mixed. 3Q Cloud Comms revenue (excl A2P fees) increased +15.6% y/y while NG GM improved (+300bps y/y). Backing out political rev and A2P fees, "core" 3Q SMS/voice rev increased a solid +9% y/y which we expect to moderate to ~ high-MSD% in F25. Despite the improved growth over the past 4 Qs, we see headline risk in F25 as we lap difficult comps that include political revs resulting in a flat y/y topline and minimal EBITDA expansion. With a recent "core" revenue CAGR of 7% y/y, we see BAND stock fairly valued and reiterate our Hold rating ."

$BAND @scheplick @mykiss I haven't seen the MS report yet but, just so I am clear, @mykiss did you say it was out already or were you just speculating/joking in the other thread? Btw, below I have attached the first page from JPM's report today entitled: "28% Growth, Up From 19% in 2Q; Stock Rises 4%; Tons of New Capabilities" They have a 'Market Perform' rating on the stock and a $36 price target. Their primary 'Investment Highlight' is as follows: "We maintain our Market Outperform rating and $36 price target on Bandwidth after the company reported better-than expected 3Q24 results, with non-GAAP EPS of $0.43 (consensus $0.32), adj. EBITDA of $24M (consensus $19M) on revenue of $194M (consensus $182M), up 28% year over year, an acceleration from 19% last quarter, with Cloud Communications revenue of $139M (consensus $137M), up 15% y/y, and Messaging Surcharges revenue of $55M (consensus $44M), up 73% y/y, and free cash flow of $14M, below the consensus of $18M — all of which left the stock up 4% on Wednesday after having increased 33% year to date versus a 19% increase for the Russell 3000." I will let you know if I run across any others.

$BAND @mykiss Important to remember that Bandwidth's new platform plugs right into OpenAI's API starting (as I understand first quarter) of next year. It's already integrated several other APIs in direct partnerships.

$BAND I'll jsut say it again because i keep getting tagged here... I personally am not doing much until the Meta Marshall note comes out. I believe it will be rather bearish and so I think that note will raid this (again) and give a nice entry if you follow the fundamental story of this company. So, I am waiting patiently for that. Just my opinion! Only for education!

$BAND solid report and raised guidance. GM and NRR were very good. The volume around the ER is disappointing, feels like sensitive shorts covered pre-earnings. I really like seeing Twillio bounce on earnings and follow through, the rising tide should lift Bandwidth as others participate. BAND still needs to follow Twillio with an OpenAI integration announcement, ASAP! Does the disappointing price action have anything to do with the dumpster fire 🔥 Q&A portion of the earnings call? A leading global CPaaS provider should use a platform that is user friendly, 1/3 of the analysts couldn't get their "voice" heard on the video calls, embarrassing! I did get a chuckle out of our favorite MS analyst not getting through 😂 Still bullish but less so after that.

$BAND Folks, that is why I asked @scheplick for his opinion on this stock. I don't know everything so I have learned to find the people who know more than I do and ask their opinions. And....since I am not that smart, I have learned to constantly ask people who are smarter than I am what they think before formulating my final opinions and investment decisions. Personally, I am very happy that @scheplick in on the BAND forum on this site. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
