$AMRC On the gross margin of Ameresco, they expect better gross margins in Q4. As mentioned in my previous message the Energy Assets have tremendous EBITDA margins, so it's a great thing they have increased over the years. Also they mentioned that projects margin is a bit low, due to new projects in Europe with lower margins. However the latest and future European projects, Ameresco expects the margins to improve for projects there. Earnings call quote: "The one thing that is pulling it down a bit is as we are adding more revenue from Europe, that does carry right now a bit lower margin profile. The good news is that we're actually starting to see more projects in the European pipeline that are getting higher margins. But the projects coming out of the backlog, again, I'd expect without Europe, fairly steady from what we've seen."

$AMRC I read the transcript of the earnings call I listened to. Again, some useful quotes of last week's earnings call. "Reiterating what we have said many times in the past, we believe we are well-insulated from changes in the administration, as our core efficiency solutions stand on their own without relying on any federal incentives." [...] "We have purposely grown our recurring energy asset and O&M profit streams, which now account for the majority of our annual adjusted EBITDA." [...] CEO, when asked one more time about election impact: "I mean, look at our business. We have the project business. And I don't see any issue associated with -- any incentives associated with the federal government as we were waiting for." The election outcome might even help $AMRC: "the previous administration was planning, 30,000 megawatts of wind farms on the offshore, if those things don't happen [...], it will play to our market because we are focusing much more on the 5 to 50-megawatt solar plant."

$AMRC This is ridiculous. Ameresco down to $29; people selling clearly haven't listened in to the earnings call. The outlook of the company is better than ever. They can work from their contracted backlog for years.. And, no, they are not like other clean energy companies, depending on government incentives and subsidies. This is going back to $40 by the end of this year.

User Image Gio_F Posted - 1 week ago

@2Malcontent The pre-market and after-hours trading on $AMRC has often been volatile due to illiquidity over the past 4 years, since Ameresco is in my watchlists. Sometimes even blatantly wrong data is relayed through datafeeds relayed by investing.com, etc. I would not think too much of anything which happens with the $AMRC stock price when markets are closed. Also tomorrow when market opens, don't be surprised if there won't be any stock price updates in the first 5 minutes after market open.

$AMRC Because this bord has been spammed by automated bots; here my take below of the earnings. Also during the earnings call my views below were confirmed that Ameresco is in no way sensitive to changes in the administration. "Ameresco is well insulated" the CEO said in his prepared statement. Also during the 1st Trump presidency, they actually received way more projects from the US Defense Department than anticipated.

$AMRC Ameresco sees FY24 non-GAAP EPS $1.15-$1.35, consensus $1.14 Sees revenue $1.7B-$1.8B, consensus $1.74B. "With our record project backlog, expanding portfolio of operating Energy Assets and growing base of long-term O&M contracts, Ameresco is very well positioned for future growth. As we look ahead to 2025, we believe the need for our smart solutions that provide energy resiliency, cost savings and infrastructure upgrades will continue to be in very high demand. We have all the elements in place to achieve another year of impressive growth in revenue and faster growth in profitability while continuing to capture growing business opportunities," Mr. Sakellaris concluded.

$AMRC Ameresco reports Q3 non-GAAP EPS 32c, consensus 47c Reports Q3 revenues $500.9M, consensus $482.86M. CEO George Sakellaris commented, "Our team continued to deliver excellent results with year-on-year quarterly revenue growth of 49% and record Adjusted EBITDA of over $62 million, growing 44% in the third quarter, reflecting strong demand for Ameresco's unique blend of services across our customer base. Each of our four business lines achieved strong year-on-year growth, led by Projects, Energy Assets and O&M, where revenues increased at substantial double-digit rates. At the same time, we brought over 40MWe of Energy Assets into operation, resulting in a year-to-date total of 209 MWe - a record number for Ameresco and already above our full year guidance of 200MWe. New business activity remained robust with our total Project Backlog growing to $4.5 billion at the end of the quarter, an increase of 22% from last year. Importantly, our continued focus on contract conversion helped drive a 56% increase in contracted backlog to a record $1.9 billion. We also had a very strong quarter with our recurring O&M business adding over $180 million in additional backlog versus last year."

$AMRC Third Quarter 2024 Financial Highlights: - Revenues of $500.9 million - Net income $17.6 million - GAAP EPS of $0.33 - Non-GAAP EPS of $0.32 - Adjusted EBITDA of $62.2 million Good numbers; although it's a miss of EPS. On the upside, the contracted(!) backlog has grown to a record $1.9 billion. I remain very bullish on the outlook of this unique company, as there are very few companies within the clean energy sector which are profitable and not very sensitive to cycles. While solar companies are currently in extreme competition (look to Jinko, Daqo, etc.) and hydrogen companies are waiting for clear government rules to support their unprofitable market segment, Ameresco is navigating clear of all the trouble in the seas of clean energy. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20241107150749/en/Ameresco-Reports-Third-Quarter-2024-Financial-Results

$AMRC I was sitting here ready for the pre-market earnings at 7 AM, but Ameresco earnings will be released in after-hours. The expectations for Ameresco are quite high today. As analists expect a +0.47 EPS profit (Investing has analists on +0.515 EPS profit) and a revenue of $ 482mln on average. See below last 5 year Earnings per share. Only in 25% of cases (5 times) the earnings were above 0.47 EPS: - Q4 2020 (0.51 EPS) - Q4 2021 (0.58 EPS) - Q2 2022 (0.62 EPS) - Q3 2022 (0.52 EPS) - Q4 2023 (0.71 EPS) Last 2 earnings for Ameresco were: - Q1 2024 (-0.06 EPS) - Q2 2024 (0.10 EPS)
