Trade Update Bounce -- or -- Breakdown? Stock: $AFL Position: $95 Put 6/20/2025 Risk: $265.03 Almost a mature bear flag; consolidating in approximately the bottom 50% of the bear candle (pulled back after tagging the 61.8% Fib); occuring at ATHs + on top of the 20 DMA + below an upsloping channel mid-line; with about a month of RSI + volume divergence. If the breakout we've seen over the last 3x trading days on $SPY takes the index to 6000, then I could see the top of the bear flag being tested (almost guaranteed IMHO; no add) with top of channel being tagged again (and potentially pierced at maximum; this could be an add level). Will likely get an answer this week...

$AFL Someone please explain what is going on with this stock. My family has owned this stock for 5 decade, never selling, and there has never been share price movement like this. Not complaining but very unusual for sure. It almost act like there is a buyout in the background. On another note.........where is a split announcement? History says its long due.

Insurance sector has shown great strenght lately. I'm buying $HIG due to its low P/E of 12, market cap of $34B that has room to keep growing, and a strong chart you can rely on, also does have dividend, it keeps constantly printing new ATH. Other picks could be $AFL $ACGL $AJG 🤝

$AFL Thing of beauty, Insurances sector is hot lately, whole sector going up. Shes forming a nice support around 110 area if she breakouts i'll most likely get in. Ofc the company is fundamentally strong with a low 11.70 P/E 🤝. Sold my $BABA position last friday, will start a position again if she touches 85-90 area

$VLO $WMB $AFL $ALL "Caution Ahead: The Bear Awakens in U.S. Economic Trends" The U.S. economy currently displays a predominantly bearish sentiment, characterized by tightening lending practices, inflationary pressures, and risks within the real estate and banking sectors. Key indicators show stable core inflation and moderate year-over-year inflation, while labor market data reveals slowing job growth. Manufacturing indices indicate contraction, with both the NY Empire Index and Philly Fed Index signaling economic softness. Consumer activity shows mixed signals, with strong personal spending but disappointing retail sales in August. Additionally, broader economic risks, including deflation and a stronger dollar, exacerbate market uncertainties. Overall, the economic data yields a score of 51 points bearish and 14 points bullish, highlighting a cautious outlook amid rising interest rates and geopolitical uncertainties.

$PGR $ALL $AFL just started looking into these stocks, I mean how is this legal? The growth is ridiculous because they're all allowed to charge whatever they want from people. My friend in California is currently dealing with ridiculous quotes and these are not competing companies, they're just price gouging because they know people can't drive without insurance. I heard that New York is worse, they actually don't even want to insure certain areas there.
Anyway, will add some to my long term portfolio since I know they'll keep climbing higher $SPY
