$NIO There’s a reason why for every 1,000 $NIO shares you buy, you add another 10 $VTI or $VOO or $VWO / $SPEM if targeting EMs. NIO is a firm speculative investment at this stage. Build out your diversified positions at the same time. It helps you ride the rollercoaster easier. NIO WILL pay off big time. But play it smart.

$MCHI $KWEB $BABA $GOLD $VWO What we experienced was a tremendous short covering as well as whale money moving in. This recent pullback was expected. All we’ve experienced is a simple pullback to the previous resistance levels. China announces future plan on stimulus on Saturday. Get ready for more upside. Don’t get caught holding a short bag. 100% upside for emerging markets is coming. The bounce in the USD will be short lived and will rollover once the FED cuts rates again. Miners move higher. Metals will outperform. Gold to $3,000 in 2025 Silver to $60 PGM’s are beyond undervalued. https://money.usnews.com/investing/news/articles/2024-10-09/chinas-finance-ministry-to-detail-fiscal-policy-on-saturday

https://youtu.be/La0_F2GK7I4?si=gcYvzGaRjku9a5Mk $SPY $QQQ $GOLD $VWO $MOS Fade utilities. Emerging markets and Gold have outperformed. Volatility into November. After 2+ years I’m still standing by my sector picks. I’ve suggested accumulating these sectors the last 2 years and price appreciation would follow. Miners, emerging markets, Energy, Long Corporate Grade A/B bonds and agribusinesses. So far it’s playing out nicely. Agribusinesses are still lagging, which means accumulate more. MOS is still my play on undervalued Ag.

$IFN $VWO $INDA As I’ve mentioned for 2+ years, the growth in India will be steady for the next 30 years. India has the fastest growing middle class in the world. https://m.economictimes.com/news/economy/policy/why-is-the-world-so-bullish-on-indias-economy/amp_articleshow/113628614.cms

Emerging markets: large underperformance vs. the S&P 500 $SPY $VWO

User Image SwingThat Posted - 2 months ago

India presents one of the most compelling growth stories for long-term investors. India’s population is young, fostering sustained growth with the largest skilled workforce. Over the next 20 years India will undergo immense economic productivity, increased consumer spending, and long-term growth, due to its increasingly growing and skilled middle class. I like and own the following ETFs for a long term investment in India / emerging markets: $EPI (WisdomTree India Earnings ETF) $SMIN (iShares MSCI India Small-Cap ETF) $VWO (Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF)

@MrReally @Stocktwits I don't have a book, but would be cool to write one someday! Also my personal investments are quite boring at 50% $VTI, 25% $VEA, and 25% $VWO. Not much to talk up there

$SPY $GOLD $SILJ $MOS $VWO SPY finishes 2024 at $550 like I called for in 2023. 2025 the SPY moves to $600+ 2026 the SPY moves to $650+ Miners are going to levels never seen before. Emerging markets move higher. Long bonds continue higher. Agriculture moves higher. Complete noise. I’m still not changing my sector picks.

$SPY Wolf Street out with some good data. Americans still don’t save much. We have a habit of spending it all and then some. However, there still is about $6 trillion sitting on the sidelines that’s not invested in the stock market. I would like to see some of that liquidity come pouring back in soon. At least $2 trillion. Inflows into miners and emerging markets is overdue. $GOLD $SILJ $VWO $EEM https://wolfstreet.com/2024/06/28/consumer-incomes-transfer-receipts-spending-saving-and-inflation/

$VXUS $VEA $VWO I'm curious, as I wait for non-US stocks to stop being turds, whether I may be going about it all wrong Specifically, currency hedging versions of international ETFs Best one that replicates close cousin to ex-US $ACWX is $HAWX Has anyone gone this route? Also wary of changing up allocations entirely like this and introducing idiosyncratic risk and selling loser to buy winner. Classic mistake to make, not staying course. The dollar will reverse eventually, helping non US stocks alike. How will these hedged ones perform then?

$IFN $INDY $VWO $MCHI AEF I personally still prefer AEF. We do own MCHI and KWEB as well. AEF is a basket of China, India, Taiwan, Brazil and multiple other countries. India will see major growth for 20-30 years. I personally think every portfolio should hold some emerging markets exposure. As the USD loses strength, other currencies will do well. AEF currently trades at a 13.97% discount to NAV and yields 6.76% distributions quarterly. https://m.economictimes.com/news/economy/indicators/india-to-emerge-as-an-economic-superpower-amid-impending-global-economic-landscape/amp_articleshow/110418764.cms
