$VIEW I feel there are two conditions that would result in View needing to buy time and delay setting an ER date. 1. Unable to secure additional funding 2. Unable to establish a path to break even As solving #2 would take care of #1, I strongly suspect this is the issue. Materials and labor costs have increased. I can't speak well to demand (seems to be sufficient) but this was depressed world-wide for the past couple of years. So, what does the road to profitability look like? Profit = Revenue - Expenses (the simplified version) There is (hopefully) a contribution margin for each unit produced that helps meet break-even from a variable costs standpoint. These need to add up to exceed the fixed costs. So, View needs to process more units, increase the contribution margin by raising prices, or reduce fixed costs. Doesn't seem impossible. But, we'll (again, hopefully) see what the financials say.

$VIEW y’all act as if they are supposed to be profitable immediately. Do you have any idea how hard it is to do this kind of business and implement this kind of technology? Yet, all you guys care about is making money on the way down. Long term this will hurt USA if it fails, may not understand yet but if Tesla became bankrupt bc of short sellers what would have our future looked like? I guess we will know soon.
