$VABK Well, merging is just a pure speculation. They merged in 2021 with Fauquier bank and the stock did not change too much at that time.

$VABK Original Virginia National Bank kept merging until it became Bank of America: 1963: Virginia National Bank was formed through the merger of several smaller Virginia banks. 1983: Virginia National Bankshares of Norfolk merged with First & Merchants Bank of Richmond to form Sovran Bank. 1990: Sovran Bank merged with Citizens & Southern National Bank to form C&S/Sovran Corp. 1991: C&S/Sovran Corp. merged with NCNB to form NationsBank. 1998: NationsBank merged with Bank of America. New "Virginia National Bank" (has nothing to do with old one - apparently they just liked the name) already doing some mergers. It will be bought out eventually also - must go with the name!

$VABK No, this stock is a scam. I followed it for 4 months... It is at "sell" on Fidelity for months, and a group sell and buying its stocks increases it with 10% with a few hundreds of thousands ... Look at its results... I am wondering when more people will want to sell its stocks...no buyers... it will drop 20% in a day. Very dangerous stock... do not touch it. it is a manipulated scam

$VABK for 2 weeks between 41-42 with low volume (almost the highest level in the last 5years!) Therefore, it doesn't make sense to be bought by a big bank. Its earning are 10%-20% lower than last year! $VBFC was much lower than its peak when it was bought ... and at some point was almost $300 before to fall to almost $20.... In addition, I am former client of the bank and its reputation is not so great in C'ville
