$untc sold around ~2/5 of position or entire cost basis (net after dividends) over the last week. Still a seems like solid idea but no longer an easy win like before. Now nat gas prices key for 2024 results. Still like the position but talking chips off the table.

$UNTC I like the upward positive movements after the big divy payout selloff. It shows there is some confidence going forward with this company. It’s a keeper for me. I scored on the big divy payout and hoping for more. 😁

$UNTC I was wondering how this would turn out as that was a truly outsize div I had never heard of this stock until someone on the closed end bond fund threads highlighted it on 12/13 I took a relatively small punt and ended the day with just over 100 at 62.9 avg I turned tail and ran on tuesday at 66.70 but I was so curious how the stock price would react today so far it looks like a wash really as I wasn't intending to hold long term

$UNTC I collected a special dividend of $6750 and sold my shares this morning. After broker fees deducted I made $587.00 net. I owned the shares for only 2 weeks so not too bad a profit. I can invest the proceeds into Yieldmax and Defiance funds moving forward.

$UNTC just wondering if there is anybody who bought on 12/27 and still waiting for their dividend? I bought 229 on 12/27 but as yet have not received payment. I'd be interested to know if there is anybody else in the same situation.

$UNTC Schwab credited the Dividend to my account after the market closed. Second largest dividend I've ever received. I hope I get to keep more of it than the last big one I collected.

$UNTC my understanding is that if I buy this now and hold till ex-dividend date even then I wouldn't get the dividend. Also its price would decrease by 22.5 after ex-dividend date. So if I buy today then I would be getting loss of around 22.5 in a day or two. Does my understanding correct? Am I missing anything here?

$UNTC UNTC Dividends now total $22.50. This changes the game significantly. The dividends are now ""Classified as Special Dividends. The Special Dividend rules are now in effect. The new EX-Day is now the 28th. of December. Pay date is still the 27th. You MUST keep your shares until the 28th. the new EX Day. Monday the 18th. is ""Record Day"" and you may buy shares on Monday and still qualify for the dividend. We still get paid on the 27th.
