$TCFF a $10m CAD capital raise was announced tonight with pricing to be released tomorrow. I was briefly a shareholder again Friday to Monday. It will be interesting to watch this from the sidelines. I'm US based and not eligible to participate, but might otherwise be interested if the price is at or below $0.20 USD. The timing of this capital raise is terrible given the recent forced liquidation mentioned previously. They must need the money ASAP. Good luck to all long-term shareholders. $TCFF I'm tempted to buy a little. I didn't think the stock would ever fall this low. The investment proposition is: * A natural gas field experiencing serious production issues, including severe decline rates, but currently cash flowing at about 1x the market cap. If they can turn production around the NPV10 of the gas reserves are worth $200m+ USD * Serious balance sheet issues (15m CAD debt due in 2 years and $9m CAD of unnamed short term liabilities) in addition to exploration and development costs of $35m USD next year. * An oil license that might be worth $50m to $1b USD if they can successfully prove it up (high risk but some recent positive news) The above for a market cap of $16m USD. I would be buying a small position (2-3% of portfolio) as a long shot of them either turning around their natural gas field or surviving long enough to make a major oil discovery. From my perspective, the investment case would be 30% SASB turn around and 70% high risk oil exploration.
