$SDC I have always thought Smile Shops in Walmart, Target, CVS or Walgreens would bring in MASSIVE revenue. Where did the CVS partnership go? The CVS CEO was fully on board with SDC. Why can't we get into Walmart or Target, aligners there would crush

User Image Emm_Mau Posted - 2 hours ago

$SDC In April 2019, CVS partnered with SDC and said they were going to put hundreds of smile shops in their stores. Eventually, thousands of smile shops in CVS stores! In February 2020 we know COVID hit, the NBC hit piece also happened in February 2020. So, Covid AND NBC hit piece in the SAME month, yikes, but why didn't CVS ever get around to adding hundreds/thousands of Smile Shops to their stores post covid (maybe in 2021, definitely in 2022). As far as I know, there are 0 smile shops in CVS stores at the moment. Anyone know?

$SDC saw some posts asking about the SDC v NBC court case appeal. Wanted to give better insight to those using this as a potential catalyst so you don’t lose money, thinking something that isn’t true might happen. The NBC appeal outcome is essentially meaningless at this stage in regard to share price. It might give a pop to unsophisticated investors, but if SDC wins the appeal which based on the hearing, seems iffy at best, it only gives SDC the right to move the case forward. This means there won’t be any money for wining the appeal and it will take at least another year or longer before the merits of the case goes before a jury. Even if the case were to reach a jury, it seems unlikely SDC would win - let alone win 2.85b. And in the incredibly unlikely scenario SDC did win 2.85b that would also go through 2 to 3 rounds of additional appeals. So if your investment thesis is based on the SDC winning the NBC case, I’d suggest looking for other catalysts. Not financial advice.

$SDC RSU Grants at those levels make me sing since it not only shows they expect the stock to remain but shows a leadership incentive to not only stick around but increase the share price.. If these people get rich off it we are all getting rich off it. Rising tide you punks

$SDC we desperately need the market to go risk on, we need the fed to pause or cut and make the pivot, our leaders are setting themselves up for a win or draw situation with granting themselves shares at 0 a share, so they either walk away unscathed or up massively. IMO, I cant rely on the leaders to bail us out with insider buys anymore, so in short term we are hoping for appeal win then settlement (short term) or lawsuit win (would be long term if that happened), fed pivot with a pause or rate cut and market goes back into small caps, and that's it, what else is there short term that could help? I don't see anything, going to take until deep q4 to see smile maker app results IMO. Thoughts?

User Image Emm_Mau Posted - 1 day ago

$SDC I guess we know now why we haven't seen any insider buys, why buy when you get granted millions of shares at $0.00 a share ???

User Image COLORBLIND Posted - 1 day ago

$SDC who cares about anything at this point in a couple months stock market and banks will be devastated and we will be in WW3.

User Image Emm_Mau Posted - 1 day ago

$SDC I think it's safe to say the top leaders have all the motivation they need to get the share price back up, they basically all just got granted millions of shares at pre-IPO pre-going public plans prices (of $0.00 a share). Imagine, you're in a company almost 10 years in, you've probably already cashed in once on the IPO in 2019, and you're getting a chance now to do it all again, oh yi yi yi yi, what a ride for the leaders, and we as investors have to root for them! because their success a 2nd time around (for Steve) means we succeed! oh yi iyiyiyiyiyiyiyiiy

$SDC The exec stock compensations are RSUs. RSUs, unlike stock options, don’t cost the recipient anything but taxes. “When doing your taxes, the value of the shares at the date of vest is taxed as ordinary income. Also like stock options, RSUs encourage employees to stay with the company longer because they vest over time.”

User Image Emm_Mau Posted - 1 day ago

$SDC IMO it doesn't help the optics that David is Stevens brother, and one could assume a conversation could go something like, "Hey brother, I need a million in cash, can I sell shares at the 11 strike price and get reimbursed shares at 0? Why sure brother, we can do that no problem."

User Image Emm_Mau Posted - 1 day ago

$SDC it still looks bad to sell 73,000 shares at 11 a share and then get gifted 2million shares at 0 a share, it looks really bad IMO, like the leaders keep cashing in while us investors are getting hung out to dry
