$PRTS Shareholders should be aware of the "Tax Benefits Preservation Plan" when they vote their shares. Read it carefully because it really looks like a poison pill, imo. It is sad they are attempting to deceive shareholders this way. What is a "Poison Pill"? From the article >>> "A poison pill is a corporate defense strategy against hostile takeover attempts. If it gets voted for, expect management and the BOD to keep destroying shareholder value that is now down over 90% from its peak. $PRTS On April 5, 2024 the company put out a press release titled >> "CarParts,com, Inc. Adopts Tax Benefits Preservation Plan" Does anyone here believe that they will be receiving some kind of Tax Benefit? Come on man, you just know they are up to something. If you read the press release you will see this >> "The Plan includes a procedure pursuant to which the Company's Board of Directors may consider requests to exempt acquisitions of the Company's common stock from the Plan if it determines that doing so would not limit or impair the availability of the Tax Attributes." << So the truth comes out! It's a poison pill so the BOD can block a takeover and keep their oversized salaries while they drive the company into the ground at shareholders expense. $PRTS I am currently in the process of getting refunds for parts I purchased from CarParts.com. I ordered a pair of sway bar links and they were both for the drivers side; I needed the riders side. PRTS shipped a riders side; however, it was the drivers side. I went on EBay and bought a rider side link; it came and was the drivers side. Looked closer and I bought the EBay part from a company called carlights360 which is really CarParts.com. Point being, PRTS is deceptive in who they are, and continue to ship parts that are not right. This costs the company profits and in my case they are operating at a loss. If my case is typical, PRTS is done! I’ve been selling my shares. I would suggest you may want to do the same🤙🏼😎🍻
