$MCK wins Optum contract, primarily bulk shipments to supply Optum’s mail-order pharmacy, from $CAH - was 16% of Cardinal's FY23 Revs. Evercore ISI: Contract to have impact on Cardinal's FY25 EPS of ($0.45) to ($0.50). Cardinal still guides FY24 EPS of $7.20 to $7.35 despite the end of the contract - has not given FY25 guide but expects to offset the loss of the OptumRx contract with new customer wins. Cardinal claiming that the contract had "meaningfully lower operating margin" than the overall pharma & specialty-solutions segment. Cardinal Health is expecting to generate adjusted free cash flow of about $2B on average from fiscal FY24 to FY26, although it does expect the metric to be lower than average in FY24 as the OptumRx deal unwinds.
