$HTGC Did anyone else not get their bonus $.08 dividend??? WTH, where's my money...

User Image look2theblue Posted - 1 day ago

@NevD Absolutely no idea what it does to $HTGC. It would just seem in $HTGC best interest to see Bluebird succeed, especially given they demonstrated 75 patients starts so far and already have 40 booked for next year. idk.

$BLUE $HTGC I bought and dumped BlueBird a while ago. Seemed it was going nowhere fast. It’s a shame this once Titan (BLUE) has fallen so far. What does a $75 Million dollar write off do to $HTGC stock. Is that reasone enough to bail on Hercules ? That’s a serious question to anyone that wants to give input. 🚑😬🤕

User Image look2theblue Posted - 1 day ago

$BLUE $HTGC Hercules capital has invested $75m into Bluebird. If $BLUE goes bankrupt Hercules gets what? An expired patent, worth zero? It would seem to me, if $HTGC wants to profit (or at least get their investment back) they need to see the company through to profitability next summer. It's a very odd symbiotic relationship that's been established. Interesting to see how this plays out.

$HTGC Will declining dividends hurt this stocks price?

User Image DataJim Posted - 1 week ago

$HTGC I like everything here except the price / NAV premium. How do you justify that? I’m ok paying a little over ( $ARCC ) but 1.7 seems a bridge too far.

@mrme Earlier in the year, I bought some shares in $HTGC and $ARCC in the BDC space after doing some research on them. I later sold both positions for a small profit. I just didn't feel knowledgeable and comfortable enough owning them for the long-term versus the Derivative Income ETF area that I really like. There's probably nothing wrong with BDC's...they're just not for me.
