$ALTO Looks like someone continues to snap up and build a position in the January $1.5 calls, they keep coming back for more and have been buying during the day. Same thing happened Friday. The million dollar question is which companies see ALTO as a good cheap acquisition here since they basically announced they are for sale. $GPRE $VLO $GEVO or $REX can all get good assets cheap here and expand their operations and be accretive to their shareholders.

$ALTO Now that they shook out the cheap shares and stop orders it will come back up. ALTO management also needs to be seriously worried that $GPRE $REX $ANDE $VLO or someone else in the sector tries to take them out cheaply here with an offer, there is no doubt the asset value is there and they now trade at an even bigger discount to book value and assets

$ALTO Management could have done better, they should have released the carbon sequestration news before the election, and also touched on the benefits of that like $GPRE has been communicating. Until Trump says something about ethanol the markets are going to be up in the air about what may or may not happen with the 45Z tax credits and Inflation Reduction Act. Also interesting comments on the potential sale of the company, they company has hired advisors, so it's curious to wonder if there is something working in the background there, ideally the best thing for them is to sell and their assets trade at a big discount to fair value

$ALTO Back to knocking on the door of going past $2 which is huge for marginability and institutional buyers. $GEVO ripped instantly higher once they crested $2. This probably only further helps as we come into earnings and I would expect them to beat by a wide margin like $GPRE did
