$CLM $CRF $OXLC ...Well, of course I was off. NAV for CLM is $7.19 and CRF is $6.86 but those are better drips.

User Image amf99 Posted - 1 day ago

@Keith1950 very close, $CLM 7.19, $CRF 6.86,

User Image Keith1950 Posted - 1 day ago

$CLM $CRF $OXLC ...After today’s (Friday-11/22/24) S&P 500 close at 5,969.34 I calculate the NAV for CLM at $7.20 (premium of 22.08%) and for CRF at $6.89 (premium of 30.77%). Cornerstone will publish the official numbers on their website a few hours after the market closes on Friday and they may be a little different from my calculations, but they should be close. Today’s NAV amounts will be used for the drip share price at the end of this month. The last Friday’s NAV of each month is normally used for the drip calculation UNLESS the last Friday of the month is also the last trading day of the month, which will be the case this month. The last 9 days, since the highs on 11/13/24 have been a bumpy ride but CLM and CRF have recovered nicely and should continue to trend up, but man, the OX has sure been flat since x-div-day. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

@ValueFiend I've been with Schwab for years and in the $CLM and $CRF drip for many years and never heard of them not allowing people to get into the program. I know from experience it can be a hassle to get into it on Schwab cause the first few people you encounter aren't aware of the Cornerstone drip plan and generally brush you off. You have to insist until you dig deep enough till you find a person who knows what you're asking about.

$OXLC Taking a re-do on Wednesday! Bought $TGT in PM at $121.75! "Day+" orders in for the Ox at $5.20, $CRF at $8.70, $ECC at $8.91. All long shots. 🍀🍀🥃

User Image PennyWeasel Posted - 3 days ago

$OXLC What a sucky day! Can't get anything filled! Can't get Ox at $5.20, can't get $CRF at $8.70, can't get $ECC at $8.91! Hell, I can't even get $GUT at $5.10🙄... Guess I might as well go off to my doctors appointment. Just about as exciting as today has been. 🍀🍀🥃

$CLM $CRF $OPP The last CLM RO in 2022 was not a great opportunity: most folks passed on their Rights. https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2022/06/13/2461335/0/en/Cornerstone-Strategic-Value-Fund-Inc-Announces-Completion-Of-Rights-Offering.html

User Image ahulme Posted - 4 days ago

$CLM $CRF interesting RO in $OPP every 6 RO shares = 2 common shares and 1 share of new $OPPPRC 6% preferred’s for $10 which has $25 PAR… nontransferable RO shares… use em or lose em…

User Image wumiller Posted - 1 week ago

@brokenman Added together my position in these two tickers was over 50,000 this had gotten so large because I drip the monthly dividend Over the last month or so the share price of $CLM went from 7.75 to 9 and $CRF similar so a good time to harvest some profits added to that I personally feel this last post election spurt in the stock market is not sustainable so for me a no brainer I still have some of both and will buy at lower prices

@bkdvet After today's sales on ex-dividend day, I now have 102.696 shares of $CLM worth $896.54 at a cost of $14.95 for 2 purchased shares with a current yield of 14.93% that gained an average of 7.29% through discounted #DRIP @ #NAV for the current year. For my $CRF shares, 106.91 shares are worth $941.88 at a cost of $15.40 for 2 purchased shares with a current yield of 14.12% that gained an average of 14.20% through the same discounted drip@ NAV for the current year. Getting ready for the RO although I wouldn't expect it until premium reach about 35% or so.

User Image wumiller Posted - 1 week ago

$CLM Wow! not expecting 7.08 NAV for $CLM and 6.76 for $CRF so as of today 23% and 30% premium to NAV respectively Game on for the R/O

User Image wumiller Posted - 1 week ago

$CLM I just got filled at 8.88 for $CRF in the AH not sure if that means anything

User Image wumiller Posted - 1 week ago

$OXLC Meanwhile the strange .40 cent difference that $CRF had over $CLM (after years of being the other way round)is down to .10 cents Are we going all the way back ?

User Image antifapat Posted - 1 week ago

@bkdvet because there are other options. I have 202.696 shares of $CLM worth $1806.02 at a cost of $814.61 for 102 purchased shares with a current yield of 14.63% that gained an average of 7.29% through discounted #DRIP @ #NAV for the current year. For my $CRF shares, 202.91 shares are worth $1840.39 at a cost of $821.49 for 98 purchased shares with a current yield of 13.72% that gained an average of 14.20% through the same discounted drip@ NAV for the current year. So, not a gain of 25-30% as you surmised for the drip but still respectable. I also have 12137.915 of $OXLC worth $6647.60 at a cost of $10.10 fort 2 purchased shares with a current yield of 20.11% that gained an average of 5.87% through discounted drip @ 95% of share price for the current year. I also have 1088.963 shares of $ECC worth $10094.69 at a cost of $10184.94 for 1077 purchased shares with a current yield of 20.71% that gained an average of 4.01% through discounted drip @ 95% of share price for the current year.

User Image bkdvet Posted - 1 week ago

@antifapat I have to ask, why is your number of invested shares so so low on Cornerstone $CLM and $CRF? The dividend yield at today’s price is over 14%, but if you DRIP the shares, you earn another 25-30% in premium to NAV. Of all “high yield” dividend stocks, I find it to be the very best option to preserve or grow capital, while paying a ridiculous dividend yield.

$CLM $CRF $OXLC ... A fairly large drop in the S&P 500 today (11/14/24), down 36.21 (-0.60%) to close at 5,949.17. Adjusting for the distribution at the end of this week, I calculate the NAV for CLM at $7.17 (premium of 24.27%) and for CRF at $6.83 (premium of 32.80%). These amounts are probably off a little and will no doubt change by this Friday’s closing, but I believe they are close. Too bad the market was down the day before ex-div day, otherwise the share prices would have probably increased instead of declined. Looking forward to a healthy drip at NAV which will be determined at the closing NAV on 10/22/24 this month.

Thought we might see $CLM and $CRF cross over to their traditional alignment of sp today.

User Image wumiller Posted - 1 week ago

$CRF buying back a little at 9.06 after my selling frenzy over the past few days $CLM not buying back and yet waiting for a little lower $OXLC ZZZZZZZZ

$CLM $CRF

User Image indernilghosh Posted - 1 week ago

$CLM and $CRF , my suggestion for whatever it is worth will be not to sell any share now unless you bought at more than $9. Reason 1. You will have capital gains 2. You will be loosing huge nav premium drip currently present. What to do for impending RO- nothing for now. Most likely next year.even last time as well , the nav premium was high for quite sometime before RO was finally executed.

User Image MisterDrysdale Posted - 1 week ago

$CLM $CRF SP running a bit too hot for me now so took profits (about 18 months worth of divvies on each). Will revisit later. Guessing a RO is on the horizon. GLTA

User Image Keith1950 Posted - 1 week ago

$CLM $CRF $OXLC ... Rights Offerings are an integral part of Cornerstones business model and they will continue to do them when conditions are favorable for a successful Offering. The major condition in my opinion is the premium percentage, the higher the better for raising new investment capital, covering operating expenses and the monthly distributions. Premiums have reached 50% in the past but anything in the 25 to 30% range is fair game. I do believe Feb-Mar are highly possible, and I hope they wait that long.

User Image Keith1950 Posted - 1 week ago

$CLM $CRF $OXLC The following comment was made on Yahoo Finance by a source I trust…"it would appear both funds could be at risk for an RO by Friday…but the odds of doing an RO now is slim…I’d give it about a 10% chance…because historically…the latest a N2 has been filed with the SEC was October 17, 2012…and they seem to like dragging them out a couple of months or so…plus with the holidays coming up would make it difficult to complete…also short interest hasn’t started increasing yet…however there is always a first time for everything…that’s why I give it a 10% chance…but if this trend continues next year…the odds increase to about a 80% chance in the first quarter…and possibly file a N2 by February like the last one…just keep an eye on the signs."

User Image Jodic923 Posted - 1 week ago

$CRF in at $6.83 out at $9.23 Enjoyed the monthly divi's the past couple of years. Will wait to enter again.

User Image antifapat Posted - 1 week ago

@PennyWeasel @MichaelJk yeah, I think premium for $CLM & $CRF needs to be above 30-35% before an RO. Just my $0.02 based on past behavior.

User Image wumiller Posted - 1 week ago

$OXLC Today I was a little more aggressive with my selling over 10% in cash now which for me is very unusual It's gonna hit my monthly divs hard but I just don't quite get what is going on with $CLM/$CRF and t 40% of my dividend portfolio I felt I couldn't just ignore it I still have a lot of both but will continue to sell should it keep rising and am considering a few stops just in case meanwhile I buy a little OCCI ACP and FEPI (small)

User Image PennyWeasel Posted - 1 week ago

@MichaelJk For $CRF and $CLM I’m assuming.

User Image Santo31 Posted - 1 week ago

$CLM $CRF When should we be thinking about selling? Looking like an RO May be coming.

User Image ceb Posted - 1 week ago

@wumiller $CLM and $CRF ... this is just getting absurd now. We've gone past "hmmm this looks like a good spec buy for next year" and plowed right into "FOMOFOMOFOMOFOMO!!1!!" ... not that I don't enjoy a nice green ticker every day...

User Image wumiller Posted - 1 week ago

$OXLC Just now getting filled $CLM 8.93 $CRF 9.19 these are just marching daily to new highs and long may it continue Reits up a bit everything else mostly meh but only $ACP lower but thats by .5 cent
