$AMC While $CNK CEO Sean Gamble was navigating the pandemic and preparing Cinemark for the box office recovery, Adam Aron was busy doing this during a 2 month period while the stock dropped 50% without a word from him.

$AMC If you want to see how a theater operator successfully navigated the pandemic, just look at $CNK which is profitable and hit a 52wk high yesterday. And CEO Sean Gamble's salary is a third of Aron's.

$AMC Adam Aron, with a net worth of around $100mil, holds only a token amount of AMC, all derived from compensation. The same goes for the rest of management. $CNK insiders own nearly 11% of Cinemark. If Aron isn't willing to put his own money in AMC, why would anyone else?

$AMC "barcodes" because there's no interest in this stock. This is just passive index/thematic fund blackboxes trading. Nobody in the market cares about theater operators, and if they do, it'll be far superior $CNK . AMC's meme days are gone.

$AMC I think what people don’t consider about why is $cnk up like 125% on the year and amc is down 25% is financials. They are the same industry but one is profitable and well run and the other is ape meme bullshit. 🤷♂️

@MoreCowbellz AMC should be cutting expenses everywhere they can. Instead, Aron wants to blow money they don't have on unnecessary things with no return on investment. They are totally unprepared for a recession which will likely hit in the next year. AMC is down 95% on his watch. That trend won't change. If you want to see how a theater operator should be run, look at $CNK .

$AMC we wouldn’t be here if the weak shorts would’ve bankrupted this stupid movie theater company during the
Pandemic 🍿 morons $CNK

$AMC Or it could be that $CNK has a good balance sheet and makes money while AMCs balance sheet is a disaster and they perpetually burn cash.

@Cjk100 Your boss made some nice trades, but you don't need to be bullish to do that. Hopefully he doesn't try to feed at the trough too many times. AMC will never go out of business per se, but they will bankrupt at some point. This company survives ONLY by issuing shares to extract shareholder equity to cover their operating expenses. That will not be changing and it can only go on for so long.
Unless the share price increases dramatically, AMC has 2-3 years left before they tappedout the shareholders and the senior notr holders force a seizure. AA, Goodman and the rest of the C-suite know this despite their hype. That's why thry don't have any of their wealth in AMC. Aron is paid 3x as much as $CNK CEO and the stock has declined 95% during his tenure. He's just using retail for funding. The ability of retail to pump this stock is in serious decline due to the dilution. Over 100 million shares issued this year alone.

$AMC vs. $CNK . You wanted to own a theater operator? You should have cut your losses in this junk and brought Cinemark.

@Cucumber88 yeah, $amc still losing money heading towards bankruptcy and massively diluting yall. $CNK is profitable and doesn't dilute us, also has a higher percentage of short interest.
