$CACC Upcoming Earnings Alert for 10/30/2024 Neutral (5.0) In recent evaluations of Credit Acceptance Corporation (CACC), several key metrics and factors emerge that could significantly influence the company's market positioning and investor sentiment. The firm has demonstrated a strong commitment to maintaining a robust financial structure, as evidenced by its recent $600 million asset-backed financing, which involved transferring approximately $750.2 million in loans to a special purpose entity. This strategic move not only enhances liquidity but also reinforces the company’s ability to manage its debt effectively. Furthermore, the recent increase in their revolving secured warehouse facility from $400 million to $500 million indicates proactive liquidity management, allowing for greater flexibility in financing operations. Credit Acceptance showcases resilience with a P/E ratio that stands competitively within its sector, reflecting a responsive growth strategy amid an evolving economic landscape. Analysts note that the company has been experiencing consistent EPS growth, which is expected to continue as it navigates both opportunities and challenges in the automotive financing market. Revenue forecasts are optimistic, with expectations of sustained growth driven by strategic initiatives and expanding market presence. When compared to industry peers, Credit Acceptance's performance metrics suggest it maintains a favorable position, bolstered by a strong insider ownership, which is often a positive indicator of future performance. --- Looking ahead, the upcoming earnings report scheduled for October 30, 2024, is poised to be a pivotal moment for Credit Acceptance. Analysts are projecting strong results, aligning with the company's recent financial maneuvers and operational enhancements. Historical performance indicates that the company has consistently exceeded earnings expectations, fostering a positive outlook among stakeholders. The consensus among analysts suggests an earnings per share (EPS) growth that could further elevate investor confidence and potentially impact the stock's valuation positively. As the market anticipates these results, investor reactions may be influenced by the broader economic indicators and the company's ability to deliver on its growth promises. Overall, the upcoming earnings call, combined with the firm's recent accolades as a top workplace, positions Credit Acceptance favorably in the eyes of investors. - Funds were net buyers of $CACC during the previous reporting quarter. - Top 5 funds with large holdings in $CACC: * Ruane, Cunniff & Goldfarb LP $365MM (Market Value). $CVNA so i used to have a wholesale license and had access to the auction data for years as recently as 2 years ago and I would have easily been able to determine and do an analysis of cars sold by carvana to Drivetime through auction or even carvana through other auction houses like Manheim or Carvana > DT through Adesa > then DT through Manheim (effectively legal money laundering to get all the shit cars off the books) but I just dont have access anymore. If anyone here has access that would be a really interesting analysis to do to look at cars being run through auctions from Carvana, Drivetime, $CACC and $ALLY at both ADESA and Manheim all of the data is there in the systems everyone has access to in the post sale reports. They even make it easy as exportable csv's

These companies are basically modern day to acco companies but for financial health.
They are taking advantage of the lower class and setting them back a decade or more of financial run for a freaking car.
The people have responsibility too but it's crazy it's even allowed to have 30% interest rates . I get it's a market and risk is higher price but companies get bailed out can absorb the risk over time and poor people can't . There needs to be some regulations in this space

$CACC $SPY $ALLY Did I tell you or what? I didn't put any money down on this trade as I had no idea time frame for this to start to unwind but my research on $CVNA led me to this conclusion. Even though I didn't put any money in play love seeing good ole research win the day and prove right! I still feel good even though not cashing in!

$ALLY $CACC Good plays to short consumer debt. Huge exposure to high interest shark loans, although they are collateralized with assets like cars etc (which are quickly crashing in value) They are all writing off more and more loss reserves from the post covid loose credit and plow income earners overextending themselves era. Look at their warnings on 2022 and 2023 vintages and increased risks on 2024 $SPY. This will not effect broader market as its largely a low income issue on car loans at 15%+ they should never have had. $CVNA
