$BASA Recently filed 10K reads like a script from a horror movie. Risk! Doubt about the company moving forward! Debt! Literally nothing of any positive significance. They gloss over the lawsuit with Upstate Custom Products in a few sentences. That’s the company!!! That lawsuit is why this company is in the position it’s in right now. I guess they can’t talk about it. Still pisses me off that they let all of this play out the way it is. Just utter incompetence from all BOD. So we wait…

$BASA I’m done buying. This is basically just a lottery ticket. In case they manage to actually get going again. So much going against them, but they do seem to have a unique technology that has to be worth something.

$BASA Also, I read that sometimes settlements can’t be reached until discovery has been presented for both sides. In this case, discovery is due by August 5, 2024. It said once each side can see the evidence presented by the other, each side will see how their case will stack up in front of a jury. Therefore possibly making a settlement a more favorable outcome than risking a jury decision. 🤷🏻♂️

$BASA So in reading through the court docket, I was looking up the Basanite lawyers. Ronald Robert Hink Jr. and added for the settlement hearing was Paul G. Finizio, Esq.. So the first guy’s website is very basic. Like, really simple and kinda not very confidence inspiring.🤦🏻♂️ But I noticed it listed he spoke English and French. Then when I looked up The Finizio Law Group, Paul G Finizio also speaks French. So I’m like, hmm, that has to be related to basalt somehow. So I google French and Basalt, and low and behold:
Basalt applications are well known from roman age where this material was used in its natural form as a paving and building stone. The French Paul Dhé was the first with the idea to extrude fiber from basalt and he received U.S paten in 1923 shown in Figure So anyway, I didn’t realize this technology went back that far! Wow. So the lawyers are having to deal with patents in French I would assume??

I’m guessing that Basanite is asking for a significant amount in damages to their business. It said in the court documents that Basanite paid the final $101k to Upstate Custom Products for the machines. But the issue was the payment for installation…
I think if Basanite wins this case, they may own Upstate Custom Products. 😄. They’ve been damaged in the tens of millions of dollars in my estimation.🤷🏻♂️

$BASA I honestly think this stock would explode with news of a place of manufacturing and a definitive announcement for installing new machines to begin production. I think it could easily run to a dollar real quick. The machines are built and just waiting, along with a new oven?? I think that’s what the lawsuit stated had been built as well as the pultrusion machines.

$BASA There is a settlement meeting on March 21st regarding the lawsuit filed by Basanite against Upstate Custom Products. Hopefully they can work out a settlement before this has to go before a jury.🙏🏻 Upstate is currently holding our machines hostage!! We can’t proceed forward without the machines they promised to build and install. Pretty ridiculous

$BASA So, I just read through the court case of Basanite vs Upstate Custom Products. They are scheduled to have a settlement hearing on March 21, 2024. They have had a few already, unsuccessful I take it. They have a Jury Trial set for July or August I believe. I’ll look again. Lots of court dates I just read through. Basically this company ain’t doing anything until this is settled. Upstate has the machines made supposedly and is holding them because they wanted installation payment ahead of installation. Basanite said payment was supposed to be after installation. And Upstate is charging Basanite for storage of the equipment. Basanite wants to come get their equipment and wants financial compensation for having disrupted and irreparably harmed their business and customer contracts. What a cluster F***!!

$BASA The only silver lining I see of late is litigation against Upstate Custom Products. I don't have an account to any of these court websites. I'm sure some of you have attorney friends that could get the full skinny on this case. This "could" move this stock should a favorable decision be handed down. Basanite Industries LLC v.
