$TRP.TSX $TRP It would appear April 16th, 2024 is in fact the record date for receipt/qualification of SOBO South Bow liquids transportation business spinout should it get approved at the AGM to come. It would appear to be a done deal in principal but confirmation still need to come at the AGM.

@averageshmo $TRP Not my kind of trade, but if for whatever reason I wanted to be involved how I would play it is: a. prolly throw a starter on here w/stop under 35. b. id look to build as/if regains 37.25ish. (but needs to hold) c. confirmation comes with a break above the pivot highs at 40/41.

$TRP $TRP.TSX This might be a little more complicated with the spinout of South Bow (Liquids Business). South Bow looks like a 14% distribution/dividend so that may explain the recent action in April if April 16th is in fact the record date for distribution of South Bow shares. If this in fact is the case then it may explain the drop in that shareholders will be getting essentially a 14% distribution in the form of South Bow shares as long as it gets approved on the date of the AGM. I had not been paying this close attention but did some digging and this could be the case. Either way this remains a solid investment for the long term. Payment of the dividend is also going to happen end of April...in 6 days or so. Cheers!

$TRP.TSX $TRP Going ex-dividend March 27 will drop a little on that but you should collect the dividend if you buy prior to that. It will make up the dividend in due time. Question is what price will we be at prior to the 27th? Inquiring minds want to know. :)

$TRP $TRP.TSX Upping short term target to CAD $57. Chewed through some heavy resistance/volume at CAD $55 mark. May take a little time but it is inevitable, only a question of when. Getting while the getting is good locking in a great yield on a company soon to split into 2 companies.

$TRP TC Energy announces sale of Portland Natural Gas Transmission System TC Energy and its partner Northern New England Investment Company, a subsidiary of Energir L.P., have entered into a purchase and sale agreement to sell Portland Natural Gas Transmission System to BlackRock, through a fund managed by its Diversified Infrastructure business, and investment funds managed by Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, for a gross purchase price of $1.14B, which includes the assumption of $250M of outstanding Senior Notes held at PNGTS. This transaction implies a valuation of approximately 11.0 times reported 2023 comparable EBITDA. The cash proceeds will be split pro-rata according to the current PNGTS ownership interests (TC Energy 61.7%, Energir 38.3%) and will be paid at closing, subject to certain customary adjustments. As part of the transaction, the Buyer will assume the outstanding Senior Notes held at PNGTS and currently consolidated on TC Energy's balance sheet....
