@JohnTill I agree with your assessment of $DADA. It's one of my top three Chinese holdings, along with $RERE and $LU. I'm optimistic that $LU will reach $4 in 2025 even though most of poster are recently berish on $LU.

$RERE ATRenew reports Q2 EPS 7c, consensus 7c Reports Q2 revenue $519.7M, consensus $518.98M. Kerry Xuefeng Chen, founder, chairman, and CEO of ATRenew, commented, "We are pleased to report that our total revenue in the second quarter of 2024 reached RMB3,776.7 million, a year-over-year increase of 27.4%, once again surpassing the high end of our guidance. Notably, order volume related to product revenues grew significantly year over year, contributing to our topline growth this quarter. We have witnessed a significant shift in consumer behavior with trade-ins becoming a more mainstream choice for consumers seeking to upgrade their electronic products. Our focus on providing value-for-money high-quality second-hand products gaining traction has resonated with customers, leading to increased demand. Our recycling service brand, AHS Recycle, continues to gain recognition in this evolving market. During the second quarter, we successfully renewed our cooperation with JD.com, further strengthening our strategic partnership. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, we anticipate that national policies promoting consumer product trade-ins will provide greater certainty for the industry. We are confident that our unique circular economy business model positions us well for healthy long-term growth."

$RERE NYSE:RERE Debt to Equity History July 3rd 2024 How Strong Is ATRenew's Balance Sheet? The latest balance sheet data shows that ATRenew had liabilities of CN¥1.42b due within a year, and liabilities of CN¥75.4m falling due after that. Offsetting these obligations, it had cash of CN¥2.08b as well as receivables valued at CN¥139.6m due within 12 months. So it actually has CN¥726.6m more liquid assets than total liabilities. This excess liquidity suggests that ATRenew is taking a careful approach to debt. Because it has plenty of assets, it is unlikely to have trouble with its lenders. Simply put, the fact that ATRenew has more cash than debt is arguably a good indication that it can manage its debt safely. There's no doubt that we learn most about debt from the balance sheet. But it is future earnings, more than anything, that will determine ATRenew's ability to maintain a healthy balance sheet going forward.

$RERE While ATRenew lost money on an earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) level, it actually generated positive free cash flow CN¥159m. So although it is loss-making, it doesn't seem to have too much near-term balance sheet risk, keeping in mind the net cash. We think its revenue growth of 30% is a good sign. There's no doubt fast top line growth can cure all manner of ills, for a stock. There's no doubt that we learn most about debt from the balance sheet
