$NXPI F, GM, Stellantis cost reduction for EV's is a major hurdle for OEM's as they want to control the automotive stack but by using QNX SDP 8 the costs are reduced with much more stability in critical functions with high level of safety. In addition, reduced need for engineering staff such the product can get to market sooner at a lower cost especially in a SVD vehicle. This reality is evident as Apple scaps its automobile development division in spite of poaching Dan Dodge fro QNX a decade ago for Project Titan. Nvidia (Thor), NXPI, ARM, TI, Renaseas all use QNX in their chips. AWS did a JV with BB called IVY about 3.5 years ago and revenue from this quarter should begin showing up in revenue stream.
