$NOK $MSFT Nokia announces five-year expansion of Microsoft Azure supply agreement Nokia (NOK) has announced a five-year expansion of its multi-year agreement to supply Microsoft (MSFT) Azure with datacenter routers and switches. The partnership will grow Nokia's global footprint to over 30 countries. The new agreement also builds upon the companies' existing collaboration around open source SONiC. As part of the expansion, Nokia will supply its 7250 IXR-10e platform to deliver multi-terabit-scale interconnectivity within Microsoft's datacenters. Nokia will also continue to deliver its custom developed management top of rack switch that is used extensively throughout the Azure network. The Nokia SONiC-based data center routers and switches will be deployed both in greenfield locations and used in support of Microsoft's migration from 100GE to 400GE connectivity within existing facilities. This will enable Microsoft to meet increasing traffic demands for years to come with Nokia's exceptional networking performance and reliability. Deployment of the Nokia 7250 IXR-10e will begin in February.

$NOK According to a recently published report by Dell’Oro Group, the trusted source for market information about the telecommunications, security, networks, and data center industries, High End Router equipment revenue declined for a fifth consecutive quarter in 3Q 2024. Nokia was the only manufacturer to post higher router revenues in the quarter on a year-over-year basis. As a result, Nokia gained five percentage points of market share. “The market contraction that the router vendors are undergoing is in its fifth quarter,” said Jimmy Yu, Vice President at Dell’Oro Group. “We anticipate that as the market stabilizes and customer inventory levels return to normal, vendors will experience higher order flows, followed by increased revenues. Nokia seems to be the first vendor to exit the correction phase, growing their High End Router revenues by nearly 10 percent,” added Yu.

$NOK The rumor is false, the man lied and committed security fraud, my hope is he gives up the Options network he's been working with to avoid jail time and they can go after the group suppressing Nokia so it can be sold to an American firm.

$NOK People can't do basic DD, so, i decided to post some color for those that want to read: People is now blaming the writer of the article, but, that same writer posted the 1st of December 2023 this article: https://www.lightreading.com/5g/rumor-at-t-may-dump-nokia I remember well that Nokia mgtm said they didn't comment of rumors or speculations. 5 days later AT&T CEO said during an interview that they were replacing Nokia with Ericsson for the following reasons: https://www.reuters.com/business/media-telecom/att-chooses-ericsson-new-us-telecom-network-will-drop-nokia-2023-12-04/ The same day, Nokia basically was forced to admitt they knew about it (when they denied 5 days before): https://www.nokia.com/about-us/news/releases/2023/12/05/nokia-comments-on-att-vendor-plans/ Now, the same writer said that rumors are there again and stock price took a hit yesterday. Let's see if during next 10-15-30 days he is right or not. If he lied "writer talked about rumors and check with their sources are pointing to another customer dropping Nokia" he can say they specified that was a rumor......but, if is true???? Nokia didn't comment until now and are silent. A repeat of 2023??

$NOK something illegal is going on here...they front run a fake news story because they knew this Multi-Billion dollar deal was happening this week and they couldn't have it be at that price point when the news broke today. FireFox is right, someone needs to go to jail here but its not Pekka...Nokia lost $2 billion in market cap yesterday on a false rumor and is up barley today on huge news that any other company would be flying.

$NOK Maybe Nokia should just sell the company now that they snagged the India contract.
