$MAXN Hmmm......Hanwha, REC, AIKO, Tongwei, Canadian Solar all sued for patent infringement. At this point, they expend less resources as the cases are very similar allowing for duplication of legal work/resources. No matter how you shake it, these are a good thing for shareholders in my opinion as it is nothing to lose and everything to gain in each of these. Great additional tailwinds to add over the next 6-18 months. What percentage of patent cases settle? 95% to 97% The vast majority of patent lawsuits settle before trial—95% to 97% of them. Some policy makers and corporations strongly criticise patent enforcement practices that favour early settlement. They argue early settlements to avoid testing the merits on patent disputes are an abusive litigation practice. Feb 16, 2018 P.S. DOE loans take up to 1 year so relax, its a lot of red tape and due diligence, I anticipate an update (ideally a good one) in the next 30 days or less.

$MAXN so maxn waits until they're ~broke to start lawsuits against seemingly everyone. if they started these earlier and staggered them, they might have cash flowing in. lolz. maybe they're getting a deal from their retained lawyers. change name and ctrl+v the filings. 500% more lawsuits with only 10% more effort

$MAXN Maxeon Solar files patent infringement suit against Hanwha Q CELLS Maxeon Solar Technologies announced that it has initiated a patent infringement lawsuit in the Eastern District of Texas against Hanwha Q CELLS, alleging their infringement of Maxeon patents relating to TOPCon solar cell technology. "In November 2023, Maxeon initiated a TOPCon patent infringement investigation in the United States, and this lawsuit against Hanwha Q CELLS, along with recent similar actions against Canadian Solar, Inc. and REC Solar Holdings AS, are results of that investigation," said Marc Robinson, Maxeon's Associate General Counsel. "Maxeon has the responsibility to protect the leadership position it has earned from its substantial R&D investments and will continue to enforce its patent rights against those who are attempting to sell infringing products in the U.S. and its other markets."
