$IQ I see nothing positive in the recent earnings, all the numbers are down compared to previous Quarters/Years. I have 1000 shares, but by looking at below figures, I am not buying any more before I see any improvements. Thanks. @JohnTill Just restarted a position in $BIDU once it hit $81, and more today. Small position. Will get larger as it drops. Also started a small position in $IQ under $2. Hope these are both good long term holds. Getting killed on my other China holds. Wish I had sold when you did, but thought it was the start of the long term move up.

$IQ $BIDU $BABA $HUYA $TENCENT Remember all these stocks where were they 3-4 years back and see where they are now. You cannot trust any of their financials as most of them have their books cooked. Additionally trump being elected will have very lil mercy on them. Better to invest elsewhere and move on rather than hope for that one day. The biggest thing as an investor you would be loosing is the opportunity cost and opportunity do not come easy. Learn to move forward rather than dwell on your past, it will make you stronger and towards progress!!

$BIDU loaded some more in long portfolio today. $IQ Prediction is eventually American and Chinese tech will meet back in the middle. One way overvalued. One way undervalued. Both have incredible tech and innovation. I’d much rather get the diamond in the rough than chase pumps like $NVDA $SMCI $SOXX

@OpenMinded Between June - October 2020 three companies (Tencent, Alibaba and ByteDance) approached Bidu (IQs largest shareholder and majority voting rights holder) to buy $IQ*... At the time $IQ had a market cap of $16bn and BIDU were discussing a takeover at $20bn+* (*Source: Reuters) As $IQ is now profitable, has revenue of $4bn and market cap of only $1bn, there is a high probability that Tencent, Alibaba and ByteDance would still be interested in acquiring $IQ. Whether BIDU would sell $IQ remains to be seen. The fact that they have decided not to seek a secondary listing for $IQ in China indicates that BIDU may sell for the right price. .
