$ESEA Euroseas reports Q3 EPS $3.92, consensus $3.55 Reports Q3 revenue $54.1M, consensus $53.3M.Aristides Pittas, Chairman and CEO of Euroseas commented: "During the third quarter of 2024, the containership markets remained around the levels reached during the first half of the year although chartering activity slowed down. However, in October and through mid-November 2024, the market has strengthened and charterers' interest in concluding charters, many of them with forward fixings, increased. As already announced, we managed to charter at very profitable rates not only three of our newbuildings, two of which are to be delivered in January 2025, but also two of our elder, 23-year old feeders, for periods of about three years for the newbuilds and between fourteen and eighteen months for the 23-year olds. "The main challenge the containership sector has to overcome is the relatively high orderbook as a percentage of the fleet. However, this orderbook is concentrated in larger vessels sizes. On the contrary, the orderbook for the feeder and intermediate segments, within which we operate, is very modest against a fleet age profile that includes a high percentage of vessels older than twenty years, thus resulting in expectations of minimal fleet growth or, even, fleet declines. Within a market that continues to be strong and has a significant charter backlog, we expect our earnings to continue being strong and our cash reserves to continue increasing as indicated by our results for the third quarter of 2024.

$ESEA To sum up: All of ESEA's charts and indicators are improving, and its negative free cash flow may become positive in the next couple of years, similar to how its accumulated deficit transformed into retained earnings in 2023. Also, the company is currently undervalued and provides a margin of safety, so Euroseas looks like an okay option, compared to some others companies in the marine shipping industry.

$NAT $ESEA $GNK $SHIP does anyone care about the US port strike looming? The International Longshoreman Association has a 1/15/2025 strike date closing 36 ports. This will be disruptive to the US right after Trumps inaugural. I am staying away from these for a bit. We should see more weakness across the board for a few more weeks. Hang tight Trumps coming with tariffs.

$GNK $ESEA $SHIP I am looking at a re entry point on SHIP but looking for some insights from some talent. The US port strike is looming. 1/15 or sometime around that time US ports may shut down. Is this why the massive selloff? Day rates plunging? Just trying to tap Stock twits for some ideas on why the sell off.

@matcheezle @Whytechocolate I think they simply had the split on reserve from when they needed to make compliance. Aside from that I don't see a value in it. I think they will avoid it because it typically doesn't reflect well in the past when they are done but that could also be because they were accompanied by offerings. As far as the stock program for employees and everything else, they all point to going straight and building shareholder value. Now that they have a bunch of skin in the game, perhaps they will attract a more favorable reputation and can build share price. If they follow $ESEA 's formula, then they will build tremendous value for themselves and shareholders. This could just be wishful thinking... they could also just pump and dump into the warrant ranges and drive it back down to short into oblivion again lol I'm hoping for the better of the two 😅
