$ASC theoretically, this type of company lives off huge debts to finance orders or acquisitions of vessels. At this historical moment as in 2012 the net debt is zero or almost zero. if you go and read the data on long term debt, from 2012 to 2014 the debt went from zero to 400 million dollars and now it is back to almost zero. I seriously believe that in 2025 there will be an order of 7/800 million dollars not to say even 1 billion dollars. This company has all the credentials to be able to realize acquisitions or gigantic orders. The dividend as already said is only 1/3 of the total net profits so with 100/150 million of net profit, the potential budget to finance and pay important orders is there!

$ASC This company has just 20 million in debt, the net profit of the first 9 months is more than $ 120 m, most of it used to cover certain expenses + 53 for acquisitions of new vessels and 25 monetized from the sale of some. The dividends paid were $ 36 m so a really low figure compared to the net profit, 1/3 to be precise.
Now, if this company will be able to increase revenues and maintain these margins, in 2025 there will be 150 m of net profit with practically zero debt and a large mountain of liquidity to increase the fleet of vessels (2/3)
Total cash? $46m

$ASC with low debit and a lot of cash is possible to see a strong increase of revenues and gross profit in 2025! 25$ per share next year 🚀
Q: Your Fourth Quarter bookings seem strong. Are they above market indices, and how do they compare to current market averages? A: Gernot Ruppelt confirmed that their bookings are indeed strong and reflect the company's focus on maximizing TCE performance. The integrated platform and capital investments in energy efficiency have allowed Ardmore to access premium trades and cargos, outperforming market indices.
Q: How do you view current asset pricing, and what is your approach to asset acquisition given the supply-demand dynamics? A: Gernot Ruppelt explained that Ardmore maintains a disciplined and selective approach to asset acquisition, ensuring any investment meets their value criteria. They focus on reinvesting in the existing fleet for attractive returns while staying connected to potential deal flows.

$ASC one thing i understand from this kind of corporate business is that they have to work to reduce the average year of oil tankers and similar ships + they have to continue to margin well to offer a long term dividend.
Honestly here there is the idea of zeroing the debt and they are very close to it, I would like to understand what strategy there will be for next year.

$ASC We recently purchased ASC 1/17/2025 12.5 calls in order to initiate our position. After extensive review, we believe that Ardmore Shipping is a well-run company with solid financials, a quality fleet, and a sustainable growth plan with a dividend that represents the "icing on the cake." While we would prefer that ASC management reduce the dividend in favor of a more robust stock buyback program (especially at these levels), we understand the rationale of the dividend and appreciate the dividend structure in which 1/3 of the quarterly profit is paid out as a dividend rather than committing to a fixed dividend. Ultimately, we believe that tax loss selling will eventually abate and ASC will return to the $16 - $18 range within the next 6-12 months.

$ASC Look at these fundamentals - so strong! P/E Ratio: 3.36 Price to Book: .80 (this means the total value of assets, ships and equipment is greater than their current market cap!) Hell, they generate almost more money each year than their current market cap - so undervalued! Once OPEC production increases this will pop, if not sooner

$ASC Technically most oversold stock now. Is there a reason, a disaster behind this? As I see, no. Stifel downgraded the stock BEFORE the last positive results, and the downfall started the next day. I will stay with the facts, the results, and make a buy here, as RSI is at deep oversold territories, with MACD also, and I think MACD soon will give an extreme bullish sign.
