$RC I’m new in this name holding a 3K share position @8,62 basis. Read a lot of good posts here (ignoring the name calling bs) Seems there is some risk on a short term sequential quarter dividend cut. But long term with an interest cut and perhaps more in 2025 I have to believe the company will rebound once rates consistently head downward. Plan is to buy only below cost basis, leverage the Drip getting more shares at these prices and 2 years from now be in a good spot as company sock appreciates.

$RC For those who aren't invested yet: I think with some patience we may have a better entry (aroung $8). KWB just released a sell rating with $8 PT. For me, now is the time to observe in view of staring a long-term investment: before Ready Capital fully absorbs its acquisition and moves further away from commercial real estate. On the other hand, the latest earnings release makes the stock vulnerable, especially if the company cuts its next dividend (which I think will happen in view of the $0.29 distributable earnings figure). Anyway, just sharing an idea...

The reported revenue represents a surprise of -24.55% over the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $64.34 million. With the consensus EPS estimate being $0.28, the EPS surprise was +3.57%.
