$SO Not too important... but I was wondering if any of the recent build-up was Ex-Dev arbitrage, and indeed, it suddenly dropped this morning about $1.40 due to automated sales. Then a healthy climb through the day back where it was. Glad my stop hasn't kicked in because I'd rather hold it into the (mid 80s?). As for the Div, much less attractive with CDs paying 5.35. But 3.63 APR + >10% up YTD..... thank you SO.

$SO unfortunately there is going to be sharp decline due to fed not renewing Powder River Basin leasing when it is up. Around half of all coal is mined in the US comes from these leases.This whole sector with ties to coal power plants will expect huge fuel cost increase.

$SO I've owned this for at least 6 years and appreciated its divs. Certainly moved well above its usual channel last few weeks. I once bought Ed at the bottom of its long-term $10 channel range, but when it got to the top it kept going another $10, which formed the top of its new channel. Maybe that's happening with SO based on Datacenter buildout speculation. But I wonder if some of it is arbitrage on its coming Ex-Div. We'll know soon. But arbitrage should just explain only 1.60 in price at most, not what it has done this week.

$TLNE Not many folks following this but this is an awesome stock. Think it is $150 to $200 stock within a year from $105 today. Quickest overview is they power generation assets including the 6th largest nuclear plant called Susquehanna. Company valuation is about $7 billion (equity + debt). They spent $8 billion to finish their NUKE back in 1984. Inflation adjusted that would be $24 billion. Competitor Southern CO $SO just finished building a nuke of the same size for $30 billion. They are profitable, growing, exposure to higher power prices and great balance sheet. They just announced a buyback to buy up to 16% of the shares and could buy up to 25%. This is a REAL BUSINESS and a REAL AI play. Reported good numbers last night. Stock is a total moonshot since we first recommended it in February but would STILL buy it here. $SO daily. overheated? looking for pullback into $75.80 for the retest of the breakout level. will enter long there. electric plays (not EVs) seem to be on the move. "data center build out effect" is the longer term idea. maybe. i have no idea why $GE and their spin offs are going crazy, but they are. open to input so comment if you have any ideas.
