$STEM CEO John Carrington claimed Stem Inc is on a “strong foundation” to meet guidance, and that the company can achieve its goals and continue to grow the business “without additional equity issuance.” The company reaffirmed that it expects to meet previously issued full-year 2024 guidance on adjusted EBITDA (US$5 million – US$20 million), bookings (US$1.5 billion – US$2 billion), year-end contracted annual recurring revenue (CARR, US$115 million – US$130 million) and operating cash flow (>US$50 million).

$STEM I guess STEM share price stuck at $1.20 until next earnings report or longer and will need to show they are making much progress on the management narrative and not disappoint again as usually the case. They never deliver any mid quarter news, updates, highlights, progress to try and show progress towards the narrative. All we constantly see is more insiders selling shares, nobody ever buying shares. I own significant position at $3.30 average cost and had bullish outlook and my patience is starting to get tested. I know this could rip higher with any future earnings beats instead of misses, especially in consecutive quarters, we could easily see $5 a year from now if that happens. But if they miss again next quarter or two I fear the price collapses further and a reverse split happens and shareholders get slaughtered. This thing if all goes extremely well is a generational wealth creater over next 5 years or a personal bankruptcy situation if they keep missing. Hope?

$STEM where is your passion, Brain? You founded this piece of sheet and you left it to the whole bunch of liars. Now, they are driving it to BK. How do you like them apples? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bK9v649nSY0

@ClearCities Paypal is positive YTD, not speculative growth but a fading business model. Upstart is definitely speculative small-cap growth, down 37%. Shopify is down 25% because it's seeing new competition and changing consumer trends. Big-commerce holdings sound like micro-cap spec. Jumia E-commerce has the same issue as any consumer stock. SoFi is a lower-quality bank that doesn't consistently produce returns, down 25% YTD. Paysafe is actually up 40% YTD and has a market cap of 5x STEM, and outperforming all alternative energy stocks. I would put all of these stocks into the low-quality bucket mixed with underperforming companies. Every company can't be a winner. $STEM

@ClearCities More than half of the SP500 is positive YTD as well. 300+. Intel, the worst performer in the SP500 YTD is down 36%. STEM is down 66% YTD. $STEM

$FLNC $STEM New SA article out on FLNC: • Excellent Q2 2024 report, but the share price is down 20% for no clear reason. • CEO Julian Nebreda claims that nothing comes near battery technology for 100% 24/7 power and that this is a big deal for data centers. This is a big positive for Fluence. • Fluence is building battery modules in the US, giving it first mover advantage on US domestic content requirements. • Fluence’s digital offering makes it an integrated solution provider in energy storage and management. • Two big and contrasting drivers in 2024: i) The goal of trebling renewables by 2030 versus ii) a push to limit renewable energy. This alone may be the source of Fluence pushback. https://seekingalpha.com/article/4694124-fluence-energy-in-a-binary-world

@ClearCities The economy is fine. The market has been on a bull run for a while and is likely only getting started. STEMs issues are many fold. Poor decision-making, expensive, mostly unproven and slow indsutry, high debt to negative earnings and weak business structure.
Always a trading stock, never an investment.
High rates make borrowing expensive. This industry is based on borrowing because it doesn't generate high profits.
It does not matter what business or industry they are related to. Batteries and solar MAY be the future, but stocks are priced based on their earnings potential.
STEM is low on the alternative energy totem poll.
