Star Bulk Carriers Corp., a shipping company, engages in the ocean transportation of dry bulk cargoes worldwide. Its vessels transport a range of bulk commodities, including iron ores, minerals and grains, bauxite, fertilizers, and steel products. As of December 31, 2023, the company owned a fleet of 116 dry bulk vessels with combined carrying capacity of 13.1 million deadweight tonnage (dwt) consisting of Newcastlemax, Capesize, Post Panamax, Kamsarmax, Panamax, Ultramax, and Supramax vessels with carrying capacities between 53,489 dwt and 209,537 dwt. Star Bulk Carriers Corp. was incorporated in 2006 and is based in Marousi, Greece.

@Jeff8853 @Karpoligiano I never noticed any tax deduction from dividends from $SBLK like I did from any Israeli position like ZIM or others. I always felt it was double taxation as on ex day the whole dividend was removed but when you received the payout it was 25% less! I know there is a tax form you can fill out to get a certain amount back or credited but in my case I do not prepare my taxes so it’s up to whoever professionally does tax prep to help out.

@Otto_Matic I’ve taken a lot of profits from $GOGL and still sitting on a small pile at 102% green. Accumulating $KNOP and waiting for the turn around there too. Sold all my $SBLK and waiting for a downturn on them again.
