$PLUG Below is so true.. Even better example is Air Products & Chemicals ( $APD ). They have no green hydrogen plants, yet they say they can meet all the strict criteria. Moreover, they strongly oppose a possible 'grandfathering clause' in 45V tax credit which is being discussed and would hugely favor Plug Power as the first mover in the US. https://www.hydrogeninsight.com/policy/we-can-meet-the-us-treasury-s-strict-standards-for-clean-hydrogen-others-can-do-it-too-air-products/2-1-1617600 If you want to be even more infuriated... Air Products provides Plug with Hydrogen, but as soon as they learned in 2020 Plug Power was going to build their own Hydrogen Plants, they screwed Plug big time and raised hydrogen prices for all Plug Power sites. Plug Power then sued Air Products in April 2021, and it was eventually settled. https://www.bizjournals.com/albany/news/2021/05/06/plug-power-settles-price-gouging-lawsuit.html But bottom-line, some companies who have never produced any green hydrogen are trying to screw Plug Power over.. Why else oppose a grandfathering clause? It will be refreshing when $PLUG is no longer dependent on companies with scumbag practices like Air Products.
