$AMSC Last year new energy orders was announced on May 09,30 million dollars,last quarter they didn’t announce,I think because they were bad,luckily Inox wind order saved the quarter,let’s hope they make up for it with 40 million of new orders this quarter and a additional Inox wind order as the cherry on top.

$AMSC It's a good thing that I didn't bet on the Kentucky Derby, my pick came in 4'th. I won't be betting on the Indianapolis 500 on May 26 either. It is starting to look like I won't be betting any more on amsc before the call either since it is looking like the 12's may be history. Luckily, I have more than what the professionals would recommend already. If it does slip back down to $12.50, I will gamble some more but it's not looking like it today. Oh well there will be other gimmies down the road. One of the good things about the 4-month delay between 3'rd qtr. and 4'th qtr. earnings is that there is only a 2-month delay between the 1'st qtr. and the 2'nd quarter earnings call. We should be getting a lot of information over the next 3 months. In case anyone didn't notice the last GRID sales PR was in Oct 2023. Perhaps they have stopped putting one out every 3 months.

$AMSC godspeedamsc, who posts over at the Ministry of Truth, often talks about Bollinger bands and from what I noticed his advice on that seems reasonable most of the time. Today, just for fun on BigCharts I created a 10-year amsc chart with Bollinger Bands. It is interesting to look at how the trends continue over long periods.

$AMSC The field is set for the Kentucky Derby. Bet all you want this week. The "field" is not quite set for the amsc earnings report but by this time the table will be set for amsc's earnings. We know about all there is to know right now about the amsc call but not quite everything. There are two bits of information we still need to know before betting on Earnings and guidance. We don't know what the stock price will be leading into earnings weekend. The other thing is the possibility of new news. Any news between now and then will almost certainly change the betting odds. In about 1 month, approximately 24 trading days we will most likely know the date for earnings and the call.

He has been talking about EVs as if they are the future of amsc. He has constantly aligned himself with this China Centric administration. McGahn himself was once China Centric. Is he still? $AMSC been meaning to do another writeup on this stock, but been tied down other work, and some family drama. Quick technical note. Stock potentially breaking from the downtrend, but failed to break through the 20DMA. But looks short term bullish. Fed meeting this week. No cut/hike expected, but I do expect Powell to be hawkish during the press conf. AMSC closely mimics the Russell2k, and hawkish tone is NEVER good for small caps...

$AMSC cont. $24 Million in cash is not a position for anything that requires a cash investment, therefore, I am glad they have $70+ Million in cash now. In 2020 they had a shelf offering of something like $300 Million. They used, I think $55 Million and the rest expired in January 2024. This new shelf offering is imo, simply a continuation of the shelf offering that expired in January 2024. IMO it is totally justified regardless of whether or not they will ever use the remainder of the shelf offering or not. They did not use all the 2020 shelf. I am glad they drew on the offering for $60 Million no matter what they use it for. Everybody knows that growth very often requires investments. With only $24 Million in cash before the new money they are too close to the edge for comfort and unable to invest comfortably and exhaust they flimsy cash position. I am glad that amsc is no longer in danger of running out of cash, I don't care how anybody else "Feels" like they are being robbed.

$AMSC After reading all the complaints about the recent offering it has sort of pushed me into the other direction. Not so much as I disagree but that there are many other ways to FEEL about it. And, imo those posters are posting about their feelings. I ean no disrespect for other's feelings but just putting my reactionary feeling out there. It's always difficult to remember pain. That is something that I think everybody knows. But facts linger. I remember the fear for many years about the "fact" that amsc was burning cash every quarter and their cash position seemed to be in great danger. A lt of people it seems have already forgotten why the SP went down to $3s not to very long ago. Cash burn and cash position played a big part. With this offering that worry is history. cont.

$AMSC Management sucked up all the new buyers in their offering at 11.25 per share and capped probable upward movement. My hope for holding: meet guidance and continue positive guidance that would bring in new buyers at this price. My fear of holding: By offering shares at 11.25, management is necessarily forecasting that the present value of money at $11.25 is greater than the future value of shares for the next year or two. Either way, near term running out of cash is no longer an issue, which also puts somewhat of a floor on the current share price. Basically, AMSCs recent management decisions may lead to a micro version of share price stagflation/volatility up and down for the next year or so that is analogous/reflective to a 1970s version of macro US economic stagflation.

$AMSC Averages The 5 Quarter TTM EPS has crossed above the 10 Quarter TT EPS. 5 Qtr. ave. is now just above $8. 10 Qtr. ave, just below $8. 15 Qtr. ave. is still well above both 15 Qtr. ave. above $10.50 15 quarters is a little less than 4 years. The charts are telling us that amsc is in essentially the same shape as it has been over the last 4 years. hahahahaha. The charts are telling us that amsc is only worth 7% more than it has been on average over the last 4 years. hahahahahaha.
