$PR bought more May calls to average down. Bought January 2025 $22 calls because I’m still bullish AF on this cdevil. Added more $PBR and $PBR.A today. Sold all of their calls with nice pop and before I could find any news. Made up to 30-50% on the pop with different levels. I am loaded to gills on oil as usual since 2020. Great buy day.

@GrumpyCrab If they announce it, they will do so on April 25, which is the last day to own shares and collect the dividend. For that reason, I expect $PBR.A shares to top out at about $16.15 on April 25 if the full special dividend of ~ $1.28 is announced. The stock would then open on April 26 ex-dividend at about $14.46, which is very close to the prevailing 200-day EMA. That is a very strong support level to keep the long-term uptrend in tact. I am expecting a confluence of fundamentals (special dividend announcement) and technicals on April 26. The prevailing 50-day EMA is currently $15.33, which is $.82 below $16.15. The amount of the ex-dividend on April 26 if only 50% of the special dividend is approved will be ~ $.85. So, $16.15 looks like a target peak share price next week, with a drop to either the 50-day EMA or 200-day EMA on April 26 when it goes ex-dividend, based on either a 50% or 100% payout of the special dividend.

@Moonrocket_ @pweyland @erlcan $1.28 per ADR is my estimate based on 5.19:1 exchange rate. Given that the stock is trading up by less than half that amount today ($.57 for $PBR.A), it seems like investors are baking into the share price half of the special dividend amount being paid out. That's my expectation as well. If they do decide to pay out at 100%, the share price should increase even more on 4/25 than today's big move up.

@erlcan @CedricL Thank you for sharing. So, no crying from anyone who was falling all over themselves to buy shares in the 16s and 17s earlier this year, but passed up the opportunity to buy $PBR.A at $14.20-$14.40 a month ago. I added more at $14.335 and $14.40 on March 8 because it was an unjustified fire sale too good to pass up. I'm expecting PBR-A shares to fill the gap and close at ~ $16.10 before ex-dividend day, and then we open on ex-dividend day just above the 200-day EMA at about $14.40 per share to keep the long-term uptrend in tact. A strong earnings report next month and recovery in the BRL/USD back to 5.00:1 would push $PBR.A shares up over $16.00 again. $PBR

Remember i said it was all fud Translated from dinheirima site news The Lula government has given up the fight with the shareholders of Petrobras ( PETR3 ; PETR4 ) and will vote in favor of the payment of 100% of the extraordinary dividends referring to the 2023 result, according to O Globo this Friday (19). So its 1.43 then and this $1 increase today is almost pricing it jn? $PBR $PBR.A

they will need to wait a little longer, according to the sources, who said the matter was not included on the agenda of the next board meeting on April 19. "The decision about the dividends will come from the shareholders' meeting (scheduled for April 25), not the board," said one of the sources, who asked not to be named in order to discuss sensitive issues. $PBR $PBR.A

@WKUDitto @GFTTrades @pweyland @Remdog420 Between $13 and $17 per share for the $PBR.A shares. Very limited upside above the nine-year high share price achieved earlier this year without a major change in how the company adjusts domestic fuel prices, a reduction in CAPEX allocated to investments in renewables, a major discovery of new proven offshore reserves, and a release of the reserve allocated to paying a special dividend to shareholders. It does not matter how high oil prices go, if all of the above do not happen it will not translate into high enough profits and dividends to entice investors to pay more than $18 per share for this stock ($PBR.A). If all of the above do happen, then I can foresee a $25-30 share price, but honestly, there isn't enough time left on the calendar in 2024 for everything to fall into place that like as Board level decisions are required for three of those four. I've only been invested here for the past 2 1/2 years, so what do I know?

$PBR.A This divergence is getting ridiculous. When are they gonna figure out it's the USD that's the real inflation issue. First we use the world as our shield, then eventually they'll hopefully realize the USD is garbage. Buy more? When to buy more is the question...

User Image Investor77777 Posted - 3 days ago

$PBR What are people's thoughts on this crash in the BRL vs. the USD over the past week or two? BRL is at a 52-week low and there is no support until 5.50:1 on the chart. The Fed is unlikely to cut rates this year, and if they do it certainly won't happen until October/November at the earliest. That is going to work against any reversal and strengthening of the BRL vs. the USD. What catalyst do people see causing a reversal in the BRL/USD to push it back down to 5:00:1 again? What is the likelihood of the Brazilian Central Bank raising the SELIC rate given their messaging about recurring .50 basis point cuts going forward? @Remdog420 - I know you have long been a proponent of a 4.2:1 BRL/USD in 2023 or 2024, but that seems like a remote possibility at this point. For the sake of both the dividend and share price, I'd be happy just to see BRL/USD back down to 5.00:1 again. $PBR.A
