$GEN Look like they got no lift from Kaspersky ban and cyber security leaks.

User Image ruxp Posted - 10/30/24

$GEN I can see this doing really well today. I’m getting a cybersecurity notice every month with a paid-for 1-2 year partnership

$GEN I am long shares, specifically for earnings beat

User Image TheBigGame Posted - 10/30/24

$GEN will beat earnings afterhours today. Kaspersky ban and cyber security scares over the summer assure it. Just in sales of kaspersky that are up for grabs since the ban, there were an extra 86 or 95 million dollars in subscriptions that did not go to Kaspersky and a sizeable portion, if not the majority, went to Norton. None of this was priced into the eps expectations, and this does not even mention the sales boost in lifelock that almost surely happened with the personal information leaks this year. Here's my math Sales for antivirus up for grabs = 721 million (kaspersky global revenue) x .43 (us makes up 43% of global cyber security market) ÷ 4 (1 quarter of sales so far) x 1.123 (cagr of global cyber security market) OR x 1.23 (revenue growth of kaspersky last year) = 86.8 million Or 95.3 million

$GEN daily: things I like about this chart - the confluence of the resistance to support flip, the support off of the anchored VWAP and off of the 50 DMA. Concern here is the bearish imbalance that's yet to resolve.

$GEN First add at $28.06. Watch it drop to $25 now, you have been sufficiently warned 😂

User Image TheBigGame Posted - 1 month ago

$GEN GENs last earnings was june, .53 eps, same month as kaspersky sales ban, no effects from that could have been reflected in those earnings. Estimated eps is .54 for October 30th, which in my opinion will be beat in a massive way, because of Norton's likely increase in market share and sales in the Kaspersky vacuum, further compounded all the recent high profile hacks and data leaks driving customers to both Norton and Lifelike, huge brands under GENs belt. Eps estimate clearly takes none of this into account. Obvious buy from me

$GEN Nice set up for a move higher

User Image TheBigGame Posted - 1 month ago

$GEN in on GEN, the ban on sales of Kaspersky and looming ban on owning it in general, the vast majority of antivirus sales have been funnelled straight into Norton, GEN digital's biggest brand
